Ah. A thought strikes in response to ani's claim.

Some people will have short roleclaims, and some long - and this is reflected in their cipher. Doesn't necessarily have much bearing on importance or anything else (the claims "cop" and quoting a cop role PM are pretty different in length), but it's still something I'd prefer not to be public information. I'd suggest that from now on, everyone pad out their claim with anything they like (should be english text though).

1. We are close to deadline.

Sometime before Day 2, he and Hoopla came up with the plan for Ani to bus Hoopla and claim he had a gun, which would legitimise Ani's gunsmith role and make him look town, thus giving him a free pass to lylo where all he had to do was frame a town member, me.

IMO, a vote Freezer is actually fairly powerful. Get rid of a vote that could cause your lynch, or anther scum's lynch is fairly good for scum.

A Hoopla-ani scumteam doesn't make sense to me. First, they're not dumb enough to pull off that bus with Hoopla's VT claim in crypto when a gun-toting crypto claim would have bought them time and revealed power roles. Second, they don't have room to risk it with UK stumped and only two of them left. Third, Hoopla's lie about the key was too natural and off-the-cuff.

TNM's anti-Hoopla actions look more like a bus and the statement the mod made about how players bastardized the game makes a lot more sense if it was because they requested VT PMs in a game with no VTs.

Is it possible that Grimmy/Zang is a framer of some kind or that Grimmy is a self-targeting scum busdriver? They'd have to be able to kill and use powers on the same night, but that doesn't seem odd to me considering the numbers of scum and town power. Either way, the last scum probably has a strong power but, with that cop detector in there, it's probably a role cop. That would explain xvart's death.

Ok, firstly, Grimmy:

Zang is not scum.

The only way Zang could be scum is if he's a mafia gun planter or something, or if he's a third party that hasn't killed yet. The first option I find much less likely than Ani simply being scum, and if Zang is somehow a third party then we're screwed anyway. Basically, seeing as Ani is claiming I have a gun, it's between me and him right now.

And I understand why it might be hard to consider Ani as scum. The bus on Hoopla was elaborate with the whole Hoopla losing her key thing and it threw us all off the scent of a possible bus. I have to admit, that right before Ani claimed that I have a gun I did a re-read on him and Zang knowing that it was impossible for Grimmy to be scum, and after the re-read I was leaning much more towards Zang being scum, and that's why I was so surprised when Ani said I had a gun. Hindsight, as they say, is 20/20 though, and it's much easier to pick up on somebody's scummy behaviour when you know 100% for certain that they are scum. In this way Ani got greedy, because by framing me that revealed himself to be scum to me and allowed me to go back and point out why he is scum.

And so let me repeat, the three things that show that there is no way Ani is a town gunsmith:

1)

He voted for Hoopla immediately after claiming she had a gun. This is not how a town gunsmith would act as it states in the role PM that town members could also have guns, so the fact that Hoopla had a gun did not mean she was scum. Ani wasn't thinking of this of course because he was bussing his partner.

2)
