Bah, it takes a bad town in my opinion to get distracted like that. Also, we're in the early game. It is important to not let people actively lurk by only posting unimportant things, but posting them often, a common scum tactic.

Ok so i didn't get to my read up and post last night like i wanted to, so here it is now.

Looking at GD's wagon it definitely grew pretty quick, and could have/had one or more scum on it, either driving it or bussing a partner. GD seemed to expect his wagon to grow on him, and I sure as heck didn't get the theory thing behind his posts, but the thing that stood out to me was MafiaSSK's unvote of GD.

@GreenDude: By posting random theories and providing no evidence along with them you are being anti town. So even if you are town it will help town to do away with you.

reason I can see scumSSK doing the unvote is for a few reasons:
1)Buddying attempt
2)Leaving an easy way to jump back onto a GD wagon with his implication he would vote that way again if GD continued to post theories.
3)WIFOM/Meta, I have only played one game with MafiaSSK (that I recall) but maybe he could say "Have i done that as town in such and such game?"

I don't see a real town reason for the way he voted and unvoted.

Post received. I have no excuse for my absence the past couple days, I haven't had a mind set to play much, and as such I apologize to everyone. If DRK needs to replace me I understand, however I am going to try to be more active because I had to replace out of one game and i hate doing that and want to continue trying to play.

I still like my vote on MafiaSSK. As the biggest wagon (by a vote) right now he should be here trying to defend himself and scumhunting, he is doing neither, promising on Tuesday for a big post on Wed and not delivering. This easily can be scum hoping that someone different puts their foot in their mouth and have votes change to said person before deadline, and I am not buying it, not from SSK.

I don't like that MafiaSSK lied, but I am surprised that he died at night, his lie got the tracker (as fail as he was) killed and that isn't a good thing, fail or no fail.

PEG any suspicions or thoughts about the day and night?

Mod it may be too early but if not can we get prods on people that have not posted?

Considering players only have 48 hours between prods, I would prefer to give players the full 48 hours into day 2 before issuing any prods.

Ok, here it is.

The fact that we have two NK's suggests one of three things;

1)We have a second mafia,
2)We have a SK,
3)We have an actual vig,

1 doesnt' seem likely due to the game size, so 2 or 3 must apply. That leaves us with four possiblities;

1) Mafia killed SSK, SK killed Magna
2) Mafia killed Magna, SK killed SSK
3) Mafia killed SSK, vig killed Magna
4) Mafia killed Magna, vig killed SSK

Usually, accurate flavor depicts SKs as heavy knife users, hence the reason I asked, as it would eliminate SKs as a possibility. However, if, flavor wise, if either would have used a gun, then theres not way to tell the difference on those grounds.

Even without flavor support, I'd still bet a lot on option 4. Magna makes little sense as a vig-kill, and SSK makes a ton.

Couple things i see...

1)

Since SSK claimed OSV, and I had just been given the functional equivalent of that role, I assumed (correctly, I may add) that he was lying.

While SSK was lying, he lied Day 1, so you didn't just get the equivalent to that role because:

Night One I was presented with a 'one shot' pistol from our local Inventor

2)Even if you got the pistol night 1, i have only been an inventor once, and it was in a game i had to leave, as far as i know a person that received something from me got it next day, not that night and able to use it same night

3)Your claim rests solely on someone now coming forth and claiming inventor, so I will at the very least give people a chance to post and see if your claim is somehow true

I have also been an Inventor and I was only able to give an invention every other night, but they were available for use immediately. There is clearly some wiggle room in Inventor abilities.

Well I can't disprove the every other night thing, because you died night 1, and even though your role pm says "each night" that doesn't mean VRK didn't mess up there since there were only three inventions and the items go away after use. I also can't disprove if they were able to be used right away, the guy you gave the one shot gun to could have waited a night on purpose to get a better read on people.

I'm gonna have to think about this a little more it seems, not as cut and dry as i thought.

really looking at SAMPs posts it does seem like he knows PEG is scum, either by investigation (which is likely unless he used his powers on Zodiark) or by something in a PEG post we missed. Most things point to PEG right now, and I for one am ready to vote him, only thing is he isn't here and i really would like to hear from him. On top of this, don't SKs usually not have the option to withhold their nightkill. I know it's possible that there was a successful doctor protection or whatever but it's more likely that there just isn't an SK at all, for this and your reason.

Well according to the wiki they are frequently not allowed to forgo their kill, i guess that is left to the mod, however i still don't think it is that way.

12 players 3 ways to die at night (vig, sk, and mafia) leaving 8 town player.
11 players at night (lets assume town is lynched which normally happens)
if there is no doc, or at least no doc protection and no cross kills, three townies die.
8 Players left. Assuming no mafia, the vig, or the SK were killed at night, and assuming a town player is lynched again, leaving three town players to go into night phase, the vig being one of them. Mafia would more then likely win at that point because the next day would more then likely have a mafia majority.

In otherwords, i think a vig and sk in a normal game would be too unbalanced.

Bolding was already there. I believe he investigated PEG and found a gun on him, hence the "dead give away" part. And the reason he posted:

Now the only thing that is off is his unvote and vote onto GD, based on GD's claim. Perhaps SAMP thought he had found PEG's partner trying to protect him by countering DS's claim, i don't know we will have to ask him after all this is over, and was trying to get the partner lynched and go back to PEG the next day. Unfortunately after that the day ended and SAMP was killed, I think now it is because scum caught onto him being an investigative role.

I didn't say that (maybe 618 can be interpreted that way, but that's certainly not what I meant). Nacho's town, I'm fairly sure, and I think you're more likely to be town than Zodiark.

What was I supposed to take from TOD saying this:

TOD said that one of the scum had to be MME, himself, and DG (which is funny that he puts himself in that category) and then the other in myself, Nacho, and Zodiark. But when asked about it he says he is fairly sure Nacho is town, followed by me, and then Zodiark.

I also don't follow the reasoning of TOD with this:

this will probably fall under "difference of play" but if I had two suspects in LyLo I would make sure that my cases on them don't leave any lingering doubts in my mind for one, and for two, I wouldn't want the dice to leave it up to chance, I would want it to be a big push by me on one person that if I was wrong at least I tried, not left it up to a number on a die.

But really Zodiark if MME had been the one to go down instead of you, then I would have probably killed off Nacho and gone after TOD the next day still. Really as scummy as his dice roll was it really helped us out in the end. I knew that as soon as he posted it and voted you, that you would in return vote him, making it easy for me to place in a vote and pray MME would quickly hammer.
