Perhaps it would've got her to shoot faster. For what it's worth, I'm more frustrated with BH than I am with you (as you can probably tell). I just, ugh, I feel like we threw away a power role and told the scum, "Here, have a free kill tonight".

Hoopla wrote:WOW, that was soooo scummy. You didn't want to use my day-kill?
No.
Even if I vigged myself, that is far better than a lynch.
Yeah, like that was going to happen.
I think Bio Hazard did this because he knew I was going to take a shot at him. Nice play!
That's exactly why I hammered.
Do you seriously think scum has a night and daykill?
Who said you had more than 1 shot?
You're not even going to see if she shoots or not?
No. Why is everyone operating under the assumption that Hoopla is not scum?
Ridiculously stupid play. Seriously, way worse than mine. I was either the vig or the SK, and I was offering you my kill (even on myself)! What the hell was your pressure going to do?
Again, why should we all assume you're not scum?

I'm OK with people calling me scummy, but I don't see why my play is bad. Hoopla lied about her role, backed out of her claim, and made a crappy early kill (on a player on a scumwagon).

^That's not voteworthy? If not, what is?

When have you ever seen a MAFIA DAY-VIG? Why would scum get a shot during the day and the night? This is a mini normal game!

I was giving the town my kill! That's why it isn't vote (hammer) worthy. If I went against orders, then by all means lynch me. You still got a lynch no matter what I did.

Ok. On one hand, I'm happy Hoopla is lynched. On the other hand, that was WAY too fast. We could squeeze something more from that conversation, and if this time she was telling the truth (we'll get to know soon enough), she could at least take that stab at one more person. *Sigh...*

The killing aspect of my role is provable - which almost certainly guarentees me to be vig or the SK.

Then by me offering to make another day-kill...

Come on.

Yeah, with the way you've been so honest and forthcoming about your role so far, I was really unreasonable to expect that you might be lying about how your role works (how many shot you have...ect).

If I was lying about how many shots I had, then you shouldn't have needed to worry about being killed! Good luck surviving the noose tomorrow. Whoever is Bio's buddy needs to bus him hard to have any chance of winning.

Yeah, like that was the only thing you could've lied about.

Can anyone give me a reason why I should've trusted hoopla?

Bio. Listen. All of the things you are saying make perfect sense if you didn't Hammer. There is a very simple and empyrical way to test if she's telling the truth or not in regards to the DayKill. We tell her who to Kill and then they die. It would be the simplest thing in the world to Lynch her immediately afterwards if you still believe she's the SK. If the player didn't die, she'd be lynched
immediately
. We could've gotten her to shoot herself if we thought her to be the SK and then we'd still have our lynch for the day.

^Again, I ask you: why are we trusting her to kill the person we say? If she does flip scum, she would certainly have incentive to kill Col. Cathart if it looked like she was going to get lynched.

If she wanted to kill someone else, she would've already. It's not like she can only use her ability once we tell her to Kill someone. Think it through, man! Seriously!

Not if she was trying to trick everyone into thinking she was a day vig.
I don't even understand what this means.
Let me elucidate.

As long as she was reasonably far away from a lynch, she had an incentive not to kill who she wanted. If a lynch looked inevitable, she could've used her kill on whoever (assuming she's not town).

Call me paranoid, but I just didn't trust her.

Assuming that Hoopla is not Scum, which is exactly what I'm assuming, Scum would've had to choose between 2 PRs to NK tonight {regardless of whether Hoopla was actual Vig or SK}. Now, we have our Tracker swinging in the wind by himself. You eliminated the choice, thus you decided his fate.

*scary music*

*is scared*

Personally, I do feel it's a big possibility, but I still hope there's some kind of protective role somewhere out to save me :)
Never mind the fact that Hoopla outed him in the first place.
Clarification: Technically, I outed myself, but I felt it was necessary to counter claim immediately.

Hoopla was too suspicious to live.

After her lynch, you search her and find a small quota of poisoned oatmeal sewn into the lining of her jacket... and a note. It seems she foresaw that her use of poison might get her lynched one day...

To the denizens of Oatville:

If you are reading this, I have been lynched. I know that you may be convinced of my guilt, as I've commited a heinous crime by poisoning our town's oatmeal. However, I'd like you to know that I did it for the best; I only became a
Vigilante
to save our town. I only hope that you can do it...

without me.

It is now nighttime. Please send in your night actions by Monday, March 1st, 11:00 PM (EST).
