danakillsu wrote:This seems really strange to me. There are a few possibilities here:
1)He actually wants us to lynch him. This could mean:
a)He doesn't want to play this game. Seems very unlikely
b)He wants the other side to win. Also unlikely
c)He has a role that wins if it is lynched. Is there such a thing?

2)He doesn't want us to lynch him.
a)Reverse Psychology. A little blatant for that.
b)He wants to confuse us. I find this most likely.
I find 1c a scary possibility, and the second most likely possibility if there is such a role.
The role is Jester, nice try. You know this is an open setup right?

Papa Zito is indeed an awesome mod. Except who is the wagon leader? danakullsu? Hmm don't want to outguess him though, could get me in trouble.

Regardless
Shrinehme wrote:

Vote: Tracker. I'm preeeetty sure about this one.

Pretty sure already, hmm? I think this is Tracker's playstyle. He's always careful with his vote, sits back and tries to gather information first.

I also think people are misunderstanding Dana. He is saying he wasn't taking RECKON seriously as in he wasn't taking the fact that RECKON really wanted himself lynched seriously.

Vote: Shrinehme

Who is pretty sure about anything D1? Oh yeah, that's right. Scum. They already know 2/12 roles...

The "wagon leader" is the player with the most votes. Sorry for the confusion.

I believe this is what he is referring to. xReck voted you saying "how did we miss this" and tried to start discussion on it. Now he seems to be either going back to Random voting yawe, or doing a scumhunting trick.

Having a name like dana+ring for avatar=easy misconception.

Same goes for you Saint Kerrigan.

On a related note, watch out town, RayFrost and SK are scum buddies alternating V/LA so they can't be linked.

Not so fast!

Hmmm. Its about that time again, time for a serious post.

RE cdubs: Here's one thing you missed. I think we can agree that, barring 3 counter claims, we're not going to lynch a mason.

12-3=9

Now there are two teams of two scum in this game.

5 townies
4 scum.

This means, unlike other games, we have almost a 50% shot of hitting scum D1!

Fate is pleased. Time to join the wagon...

How is me getting it right interesting while the other two getting it isn't??
I could have added a ", interesting." After each one, but I like my posts to look nice.

Also, I just replaced flareonage in another game... We don't need this inactive/nub town/scum in our experiment.
I'm not voting xReck. What were you trying to get at with this vote here?

yawetag wrote:.
Fate Replacement

In a replacement, I think the only roles that would be allowed to return are ones that have NO other knowledge a simple townie would have. This eliminates any roles that investigate (cops, trackers, watchers), scum, and any group. In effect, I would ask myself one simple question: "Does this player have ANY knowledge that any other player in this game doesn't have WITHOUT QUESTION?"

Yes, I was an un-CCed Mason and Fate was a Mason -- it's a logical replacement. However, it fully cleared my role as a Mason. There's no way you would place a dead Mason into ANY other spot in the game.

For all we know, shrine could have tried to make a CC the next day. It essentially forced the decision to be between shrine and evil, with no way to place any doubt on the third player. It turned a 33% chance into a 50% chance.
I didn't have any extra information replacing in. Everyone at that point knew the other two masons (Fate and Dana) the only thing I knew,
for certain
was that Yawetag was the last mason (aka my new self). I.e. the only thing extra I knew was the knowledge of my new role, which is standard.

Shrine could have countered me, and I would have pointed directly toward that "Danakills trust Cat" post. The argument "well I was a former mason and I know yawetag was a mason with me" shouldn't have held any water. And I wouldn't have used it because I was playing solely from Yawetag's slot.

In different situations the replacement would have been more scandalous. Like if I replaced Cdubs or something.

I think this one was ok because, although you were a not-100% confirmed mason, you were uncountered the day before, and the breadcrumbs were as clear as day. As in, CC'ing wasn't going to happen anyway.

I actually was only about 75% sure about Shrine being the last scum. Evil's "yay town" posts didn't make me feel better, the thing that sealed it was Shrine just giving up at the end. Seriously, it was between you two anyway, didn't you have arguments to convince Yawetag evil was scum?

But yeah Reckon is right. Town did well this game, and it is sad to know we would've lost after only one mislynch, but Fate pulled through in the end with cdubs' no action and we ended up winning.

The situation I was asking about that "has this ever happened before" wasn't dead players replacing back in, but dead players replacing back in to hammer their killers. Bwhhahah

I never got that N3 PM! Haha. I got killed N1, and I had no idea everyone else had such elaborate PMs just for the night phase. I really enjoyed your modding and flavor. I look forward to non-Open games from you.

Shrine your "QT journals" are hilarious so far.

@Yawe: My only opinion is you gave yourself away as the mason clear as day. That "dana could be a mason let's not forget" in your first post made me worried. I was as surprised as you were that you lasted to the final day. And even more surprised that I was killed N1 (though it wasn't because I was obvmason but because I suspected Shrine).
