It was a beautiful day on the Isle of Napa. Sir Riesling was enjoying a quiet stroll through his illustrious vineyards when he was interrupted from his reverie by the sounds of chaos echoing from every direction.

His trusty groundskeeper Verdot ran forth, gasping for air as he reached his Lord.

"Sir, we have problems all over the island! There's fires breaking out every which way and I swear I saw people loading our precious barrels onto ships and making off to sea. People are starting to turn up missing! Everything is in disarray!"

At that moment a cloud of smoke oozed up from the ground covering everything in an itchy darkness.

As it cleared, Verdot saw the body of sweet Riesling laying before him.

In a coughing whisper he said "Verdot, it is up to you to save our island. Protect the barrels by any means necessary. They won't stop until we are gone, so you're going to have to beat them to the punch."

With that, Sir Riesling breathed his last.

Let me say that this was a fun game. Initially, after draft I was thinking the Cop, Tracker, Empowerer mafia would have a solid lead. Show me that a good town is a great tool though.

All in all I was more than impressed with the speed and activity. AND the fact I didn't have to really step in on anything. There's no single MVP because you're all MVP's in my heart <3.

That said... my personal kudos go out to Cobalt the power vig and DGB. Bravo to both!

I'll not get not killing the watcher, personally. Although at that point it was very uphill for the scum.

Future?

In the near future I am thinking about running this again (17 town - 5 mafia I think). That said:

- What roles would you like to see available?
- What roles should I nix?
- What overall should I change?
- What overall should I keep?

The next one I think I'm going to let the scum coordinate before the draft some. And, of course, I'm leaning on one big scumteam.

And no, no blacklists this game. But I might need a composition on "Why I shouldn't have the amazing amount of inactivity not be a factor in your mod-god ire" essays from SOME players should they want to play in more in the future.

Which I thought about - but there are some roles that are only helpful for scum and I'm not sure what it would do to balance if they got drafted HOPING they'd be scum.
