I mean this, sorry for not explaining more.
I voted because I was rereading Nuwen's iso. and two or three of her posts made me think that (a) Nuwen and Suave were scum buddies, (b) Nuwen was expecting Suave to be lynched, and (c) was planning to use it to incriminate Mike and/or Reck and/or MacavityLock. I saved a draft of my post to my comp; I can post it if you want, but if Suave is to be believed then you can throw that theory out the window.
You said that your theory of Nuwen/Suave scumbuddies is invalid if we believe Suave's claim, but I'm just advocating we wait until we see what happens to him tonight instead of making the assumption today when we have less information. I said "onto something" meaning if Suave flips scum by the real vig's killing him, the interactions you found will be useful.

Erik, we don't even know if there is another vigilante. If Suave survives, we still won't know if he's lying or telling the truth. He should kill someone tonight and pray his choice doesn't coincide with the mafia's kill choice and/or the doc's protection choice (ideally by choosing a member of the mafia). Two dead bodies confirm that we do in fact have a mafia and either a vig or a serial killer.

That makes sense; you're right. In that case, you should post it now so we can refer back to it later if anything comes up to make us doubt his claim later.

Like I said, I did this yesterday so it's no longer my favored theory as I think Suave is telling the truth.

[hr]50/[hr]
Latest dime-a-dozen scum team theory says Nuwen and MrSuave are buddies.

(Quotes and vote counts are arranged in chronological order.)

tubby216 (2) -- Symbol, ErictheRed
Hoopla (1) -- MrSuave
MrSuave
(3) -- julienvonwolfe, MacavityLock,
ekiM

ErictheRed (2) -- iamausername,
xRECKONERx

Symbol (1) -- tubby216
Torqez (3) -- Torqez, Nuwen, Hoopla
Nuwen, iso. 49 wrote:I like you [Torqez] already. Let's talk about the
current wagon on
Suave
and Tubby <-> Reck. Suave's wagon is one of classic opportunism.
There's gotta be scum on it
. If you had to pick someone on it to lynch, Torq, who would it be?

What have you taken away from Tubby's fixation on Reck and
Reck's
willingness to lynch
Suave
or Tubby
?
Nuwen, iso. 49 wrote:
Mike
, you've gone all quiet again.

. . .

I'm a little bothered by this [two quotes from
ekiM
]. When I read post 1, I glanced over the "for claiming purposes" addendum and focused only on "can't think of lynching him until he gets replaced." After rereading, I'm now more concerned by the parenthetical statement - pulling out claims is not the best reason to value a replacement on Day 1. A replacement needs to speak, commit, and tether himself to the game on day 1; valuing claim ability indicates that you might already know that slot's alignment.
Nuwen (1) -- Torqez
tubby216 (1) -- ErictheRed
Hoopla (2) -- MrSuave, Symbol
MrSuave
(5) -- julienvonwolfe, MacavityLock,
ekiM
,
xRECKONERx
, tubby216
ErictheRed (1) -- iamausername
Torqez (1) -- Hoopla

Not Voting (1) -- Nuwen

Note: By the time the following post was made, RECK had switched over to JVW.
Nuwen, iso. 54 wrote:I don't see how the wagons on Geek and Suave are comparable - Suave is going to be lynched for being quite useless, inexperienced, and one of the weaker links in the game.

No.
If
Suave
flips scum, expect an
early/mid wagon bus from
at
least
one
other
team
member
. I don't think that Suave is any more likely to be scum than random, however.

I don't know what your on about Symbol - your thought process is too quick for me.

One moment your accusing one person, then the next minute your accusing someone else. You change votes at every chance you get and its hard to keep track of what's going on.

I dont join "bandwagons like hell". Initially my response from this thread (remember, I replaced in) was the fact that Hoopla and Nuwen appear scummy to me and I couldn't follow the reasoning behind why people were on Suave here is an example post. Feel free to read my iso for my thought process on the whole nuwen/hoopla/suave thing. I still highly suspect Hoopla and still havn't heard from Nuwen.

You said I didn't outline why I thought Hoopla was suspicious, I'm not sure if you just missed my post here. This has since been backed up my post here (which just happened recently, confirming some suspicions of mine)

Regardless, out of the two, I was never convinced of vote on Suave, and your post here kinda made me suspcious abouut jvw based on what other people said too. I was previously voting for Nuwen, but people don't seem to be going that way.

I havn't moved off my vote off jvw even when there was pressure to jump on and lynch suave. Unfortunately being a replacement into the game, I havn't had all the interaction I would have liked before figuring out who is scum. Right now though, I still highly suspect Hoopla. JVW is dodgy as well and since we're pushing for a lynch - unfortunately it's the way I guess we go.

And again I say, I'm still newish in terms of MafiaScum, so the whole idea of claiming is new to me (in my previous mafia games elsewhere, people could talk to each other in pms or irc to convince other ppl etc to not lynch them etc).

I believe Suave's claim, and we do need a lynch. I don't think we have the numbers on RECK. Okay.

After a long day of deliberation, the town had come to a consensus . . . somebody had to hang. With the sun slowly disappearing from view, julienvonwolfe was lead to the "platform". (They just set an old chair upon an unused desk under a healthy apple tree with a sturdy limb supporting the rope.) The rotting chair gave way and julienvonwlfe's body dropped . . . snapping his neck. Upon further inspection of the victim, the townsfolk found something of interest: a ticket for some form of transportation (only valid every other day).

julienvonwolfe, town commuter, hung D1

D1 Final Vote Count

Hoopla (1) -- MrSuave
MrSuave (2) -- julienvonwolfe, MacavityLock

Wiping the sleep from their eyes, the town gathers for today's discussion. They feel the weight of their plight after yesterday's decision. A cursory glance reveals that the gathering crowd is smaller then yesterday's population. A voice shouts, "Hey! Over here!" Some of the townsfolk hurry over to find a body with a single bullet hole and a pool of blood. A gun sticking out from the waistband is all you need to see.

Hoopla, mafia goon, shot N1

Another voice rings out, "Y'all gotta see this." Others move toward this location to have a close look as the area around the first body is a bit crowded. The victim is almost unidentifiable due to the punishment endured before death. No matter how harsh the beating, you're certain that no valuable information was lost.

don_johnson, vanilla townie, killed N1

Vote Count

Not Voting (9) -- Looker, tubby216, MrSuave, EriktheRed, Symbol, xRECKONERx, Torqez, iamausername, MacavityLock

Can you substantiate this? Right now I can see only how I was adamantly against the confirmed scum for the entirety of my presence in the game, and don't see how you see that as scummy.
