Non-random
Vote: ConfidAnon
.

Trying to dodge responsibility for his vote.

malpascp, what does rolling a die (or, even worse, claiming to roll a die) add to this game?
Do you think there's any importance in the fact he is now trying to shake any responsibility for his vote?
Why did you vote Col.C for that, and not me, when I did the same thing first?

Are you actually a Scout? If so, where?

A vote in the
random
voting stage is usually supposed to be
random.
No, it's supposed to be 'random' (read: arbitrary). By actually voting randomly (or claiming to be, which is even worse), you attempt to remove responsibility of your vote from yourself.

My vote stands.

Look up my past games, I jump all over anyone who tries to slide by without placing an arbitrary vote.

ani, Town go into the RVS with no information, and so place a truly 'random' vote, in the sense they have no clue who the Hell to vote for. Unless its a policy vote of some sort, which also gives information.
Scum go into the RVS having to make a decision of whether or not to vote a scumbuddy. This can be good information. By truly randomizing a vote, they can get out of having to make that decision.

Sens never claimed his case to be strong. It's better than non-random, so he went with it.

Of note is that if Anon is indeed Scum here, its his first time ever as Scum. I can very well see him not wanting to decided whether to vote a buddy or not, for fear of slipping.

Also, the fact he has been trying so hard to discredit my vote, going so far as to call me scummy for OMGUS, makes me more comfortable with my vote.

Am I the only one seeing how completely ConfidAnon is self-destructing with every post he makes? He really couldn't be reacting worse to the votes on him.

I smell a scumbag.

a) 'Happiness' is much more often faked then geniune, expecially when as explicit as yours was

I'll /in for the restart, but (having missed the fact that Scum can't cross-kill), how the hell is Town supposed to win this?

So Town has lynched right 3 straight times, and now needs a 4th straight Scum lynch to win.

I still don't like games where the Town's lynches can be rendered moot due to large number of Scum.

More to the point, why can't Scum be cross-killed? Games have been run (closed, admittedly) where the Town had considerable more power than this in a 2-2-8 set-up, Scum could crosskill, and scumteams have won. Why are they exempt in this set-up?

Again, 2-2-8 set-ups are far from unusual. What makes this one special?

You don't see a problem with a game where the Town lynches right 3 out of 3 times, and is still in a 3p endgame?

Town needs 4 correct lynches to win the game. One mislynch can lose it.
