Mini 867- TTGL Mafia: GAME OVER: Roles posted.

So...we all know the tale about a young boy in an underground village and his hot blooded mentor, and how they broke through to the surface, had a spirit that would pierce the heavens...and managed to shatter the entire universe with pure determination. I'm sorry to tell you, that this is not that tale. The people remain the same...but they face an entirely new foe...a new element in their universe of spiral energy that will lead to a dystopia if you all fail to go beyond the impossible and kick reason to the curb. Of course, we found the best people to do this, even removing the geas of death over some for the sake of having enough hot blood to defeat this looming threat. This is that tale. Both sides of the conflict arrive at the scene...the hot blood of the Dai Gurren Brigade, the hellishy screwed up pilots of evangelion, the Anti-spirals, the Beastmen...anyone who can fight is in this battle royale!

However, as the battle rages of course the sides get confused as to who is who anymore...and even the outpourings of hot blood don't seem to help...so...then...as the lines have finally thinned to 13 people...a voice of reason speaks up. forbiddanlight, a girl who walked to this universe to help it, with her planeswalking mentor Tarhalindur. With a swift spin of her skirt the battle stops. All energy on the battlefield is suspended...well, except sonic energy...so that they can hear her words.

forbiddanlight: "Umu...well...I heard about this battle as I was tripping along the planes...and...you're using too much spiral energy. There's a great instability in this universe...fortunately...there are so few of you left I'd like to propose an alternate sort of battle. It involves less hot blood (though I'm sure you all have ways to slip that in)...but I think it'll prevent spiral nemesis...as well as be a great way to determine the fate of this universe...I propose a game of Mafia...

Tarhalindur: Are you serious? That's ridiculous! You can't seriously expect THESE people to drop the mecha even for a little bit and lynch each other...you have much to learn, young lady!

One of the fighters: Ah...yeah, that's fine! I don't care what we do! I don't want to cause Spiral Nemesis though! So tell us about this game! I'll pound these emo bastards into the ground any day!

The rules. Stolen very VERY loosely from Tahalindur.

1) I am the mod thy goddess, and whatever I say is law. If you make a mistake voting, tell me so I can correct the vote count.


2) Don't have fun at the expense of the other players in this game (in other words, don't be a jackass). Repeated or extreme violations of this rule will result in being Turned Emo.

2a) Attempting to use loopholes in the rules to gain an advantage in the game is considered jackassery, and will be treated as such. This applies to things like encrypted codes, invisible text, editing and deleting posts, trying to use the structure of the role PM to gain an advantage, etc. Please, use your common sense!

2b) If you are Turned Emo, it will be up to my discretion whether Day ends or not, as well as if you personally lose.

3) Rule 3 has been Turned Emo.


4) You vote for someone to die like this:

4a) Anyone or anything that reaches lynch count will be lynched, regardless of whether they are actually in the game or not.


5) Days have a deadline of 21 days. A deadline extension of 7 days may be granted by a majority vote once per day.

5a) If no one has reached majority by deadline, the person with the most votes will be lynched. If there is a tie, each player in the tie will send me a haiku. Whichever one is more amusing will be spared the rope.


6) Nights will last between 48 and 72 hours.


7) If someone has a night action and fails to send it in before night ends, they will take a randomized night action.


8) No outside talking about the game, unless your role PM says so.

8a)Mafia Discussion threads are NOT a part of this game. Do not post there looking for advice on this game. If I have reason to believe that any posts you make in Mafia Discussion are made for help in this game, you will be Turned Emo.

9) Be respectful to the other players and have fun.

10) Dying means you can't post in the thread anymore. So does being Turned Emo. You can, however, make one post after you die as long as it doesn't contain any game related information. This would be your "Bah" post.


11) You are, however, not dead until I say so. You also are not Out of Hot Blood or Turned Emo until I say so.

12) Unless V/LA is declared in thread, you are expected to post at least once every 72 hours. Failure to do so results in prodding for the first two offenses, and the final offense will involve you being force replaced.

13) Twilight posting is alright. Until I lock the thread you can discuss anything.

14) Red is my color. Using it risks being Turned Emo.

15) If 3 no lynch/no kill cycles occur, Rocks Fall, Everyone Dies. No one will win.
