I don't think I'm going to give you a "baseline meta read", or allow you to gain data from me to continue what looks to me like the basis of some pretty complex role-fishing. Or some complex plan you've cooked up, which I think has been shot down in a blaze lacking glory. You can do that hard work yourself.

Answering this survey is, as Vi said, not something a pro-town player should fear.

Expecting that Vi would avoid the fray simply because he asked the questions is ridiculous; if anything he'd come under more attention for doing so (and he has), unless the town is full of idiots, and Vi would definitely be expected to answer them himself. So, I find Porkens' reaction to the survey rather over-the-top.

It's not conspiracy-theory enough, but it is somewhat plausible. I can imagine the scum doing that, generating enough talk to distract. If true, then Vi's plan is thouroughly... buggered.

Anyway, as they say, Miss an issue, miss a lot.

Generally, I've got a fair scum reading on Y.C, now popsofctown. Incredibly strong tunnelling, willing to lynch a townie on policy, the whole mod involvement thing, accusing votes of being pushed, and now dropping out of the game and letting someone else take over. That said, my gut says no, that perhaps he was just excitable. It will be interesting to see which is right.



Vi... I can sort of now see what's going on. While you could read the whole survey thing as a scumtell, I ask myself now: Would scum really do that? Would they bring that much attention to themselves? Why?

Unless Vi is a very good scum-player. Which would mean he* is delibeatley trying to look lynchable, in the hopes that someone else trips up while arguing with him* and gets lynched instead, while Vi comes off as the victim. Or perhaps it's something more complicated than that.

I believe that Y.C/pops is not scum. I believe that Y.C was most likely a townie that just got it wrong, and perhaps played a rather different game than we did. You know, he just got those blinkers on, and refused to see anything else...

I reread you, you're a waffle. First the survey is scummy, then it's not, and first you have a scum read on Y.C... but then not really. Where do you stand? It really looks like scum that wants to pretend to have scum reads on either, but then doesn't want to commit and be on an dark wagon.

Damn right, I'm waffle. Regarding the survey, yourself, and Vi: At first, as you said, I found it scummy. Fair enough, I think, and besides, that's what the cool kids were doing. The thing is, after thinking about it for a while, it occurred to me that Vi probably isn't scum, but more likely a misunderstood townie. The same thing goes for Y.C - And I've seen that before, how two townies can go at each other and completely miss the scum. So no, at the moment, I don't think that either you or Vi is scum.

As for the rest: To re-literate, I initially refused to answer it because I thought that it was a scum-tell. However, by the time that alternative discussion had started, there was that whole shitestorm between Vi and Y.C going on. I tend to keep my head down during those sorts of things. I don't think the game plays itself. And I'm not sure if nine of you would get anything done - but I suspect not, because you'd all be defeatist all the time.

Well, I assume you mean why did I initially think that the survey was a scumtell. I'll speak as of my mindset while I thought it was, and ignore any thoughts that I've thought beyond that point.

To me, it seemed that Vi was fishing for info. A lot of info. And, I suppose, she was - Remember the whole "baseline meta read" thing? That made me think that there was a fair chance that she might have been rolefishing at the same time, and only scum would bother rolefishing at such an early point.

As for who I think are scum - I, honestly, have no idea at the moment. I do apologise for that, but I will do a re-read when I can, and actually pay attention this time.

Sorry that I haven't been around for a while guys, it's just that Year 11 has been rather harsh on me this week, and probably will also be for the next. Test, test, State-Assessed-Coursework task, another test, and so on... I haven't even been able to start that analysis I promised you guys, or the one for the fellows in the other game I'm in...

After thought, I've come to a conclusion. If you guys want me to be replaced, I'll be fine with that. That's fair enough, because it isn't much fun to have a player who isn't there all to often.

Actually, now that I think about it more, I realise that my end-of-years will be approaching, so it's probably best that I bow out now rather than later. Sorry once again.

Looking for a replacement, will try to get someone here before tomorrow. I will probably end up pushing the deadline back a day or two just for the sake of giving them time to catch up.
