I wouldn't be surprised if Spinach was a form of mafia godfather.

The only trainers I can think of in this situation. is Team Rocket.

Interesting count dramonic.

I'd really like to see if there are more trainers! If there are, Spinach probably isn't scum then.

Well, it's much easier to distance oneself from someone who's confirmed scum...

I dunno, it might be confusing.

Spinach's role is really strange. No flavor at all. He didn't even say he was a trainer in his role claim post.

I mean, if I would assign a pokemon to him based on those roles, it'd be Mr. Mime!

I'd still like a lynch on him though.

Funny, Spinach was a pokemon.

And 4 kills in one day.

So... I don't know what we learned.

From this, I hypothesize that the remaining portion of Team Rocket are humans, who would be seen as guilty because of this.

This is a game I was vig in. That one last shot I had basically saved the game for town.

Though, I did make one misvig the day before. However, that prevented that person from being lynched - he was already suspected.

Essentially, even if someone misvigs EVERY night... They give the town info. Vigs are town affiliated - town affiliated target scummy characters.

Should a scummy character come up town... That means you saved the day from a lynch on a town scummy player, which could end in a night on a pro town player.

In other words - it's vig ???, lose one ???, lose 1 town.
Or lynch one ??? and lose 1 town.

That above was a terrible explanation.

I mean, lynch information is always double edged.

Of course there's the though "scum don't vote scum."
But then there's bussing which confuses everyone.

Also if a townie pushes for a lynch that ends up town., that townie sometimes ends up the next lynch day candidate.

Vig kills are based on gut feelings I guess.

.. and save lynches for other non-town scummy players.

(notice, town can be scummy be still be town)

This is what I was referring to. In the context of the post, it comes just after you congratulated Nika for his deductions and just before you suggested that lynches only "sometimes" give more information than vigs (contradicting my prior point). So, in context, you praise Nika, ask a penetrating question at his former suspect (me), and then
undermine me in the discussion with Nika (in a way that didn't make much sense to me).
Again, and as I originally stated, it was weak suspicion, and I didn't think it was much of a case yet; I only mentioned it because I was asked directly and it was topical.
Oh wow. o_O

I did not mean that in that way at all. Ha, it was just plain asking. lol

I dun understand how I undermine you though. (undermine = sabotage?)

Actually, there I was. I don't see how that was an accusation though - and it wasn't meant to be - it's a theory topic! Just like in real life, put together theories and find the best one using support, observations, and analysis...

Icerint wrote:I've only seen the very beginning of the show. I was really into it when I was in 5th-6th grade. I remember Ekans and Koffing evolving (I think) and Togepi appearing (very vaguely), but nothing beyond that. If there are other canon TR Pokemon, I don't know them very well. Also, I'm not familiar with any Pokemon after 152 or so.
Great!

First,
James = Koffing
Jesse = Ekans
+ Meowth

Giovanni had a Persian.

Butch + Cassidy had...???

Later, Koffing -> Weezing
Ekands -> Arbok

James had a Victreebell too but he gave it to a pokemon daycare and got it back wayyy later.

And true - they had a Magikarp as well. On the episode where the ship sunk and they were floating on the raft, James kicked it into the water. It evolved into a Gyrados, which used Dragon Rage(with other Gyrados) on the Team Rocket gang "blasting them off" (lol, had to) to Giant Pokemon Island (notice they're all mechanical there).

Jesse and James got a Lickitung at around this point. They accidentally traded it for...

The Wobbufett!!

There was a sad episode when Jesse and James gave up Koffing and Weezing...
(We love you but we don't want you tangeled up in our mess)

I forget the second generation pokemon.

However, notice the opening text says Palkia - hence, diamond and pearl.

Here, Jesse has a Dustox (Jesse liked May's Butter... (not free) and wanted her own. She got a Wormile (SP?) and unknowingly it evolved into a Cascoon (evolves into Dustox) rather than a Silcoon (evolves into the Butter...) and James has a Carnivine (non evolution grass type).

Icerint wrote:I thought it was "girlfriend," to be honest. That's what I think automatically when I see "GF." I couldn't remember whether the Meowth character was supposed to be male or female (I think the VA is male, but...).

My own role name is kinda tailored to my Pokemon role a bit, so it didn't occur to me that Meowth's role would be as simple as "GF." I found Spinach's "Doctor" claim bizarre for the same reason.

I think there may have been a miscommunication. The "accusation" (NB: I just doublechecked, and I think I've actually called it "expressing suspicion" and "ask a penetrating question" -- never "accusation" AFAIK; I think that would've been an exaggeration) is a separate event from the "undermining." The sequence of events (all within one post) is 1. Sir high-fives Nika 2. Sir asks me the "penetrating question" 3. Sir undermines my view.

I think you guys are really taking it out of proportion. It's not like I voted for him over this. I just answered Nika's question with it because it was on my mind and therefore the only honest answer to his question.

Why do you keep taking out the first "e" in my name? O_o
Right! Not accusation, wrong word. Just a penetrating question... undermining statement... Blah.
Overall, nothing against you meant there. -_-

...

Well, I'll claim.

Guess who killed Haylen?

*raises a hand*

Time for some fun..

I am Charmander, the starter fire type pokemon.

I may use slash to rip a pokemon into pieces... in this case it was Haylen... However, using this causes my tail fire (rage) to die down for a day, so I cannot use it twice in a row. However, if the kill fails, I die.

Though, when my rage is down, I can use "Flash" during the day or night to get the flame back up. Flash reveals a player's affiliation. Should flash fail though, I cannot use it anymore.

If I don't want to flash, I can use my other ability that involves hiding in a cave to regain my fire strength. In other words, I jailkeep myself (no cop investigations, night kills, or any targetables affect me).

Of course, as a fire pokemon, my rage and flame might become uncontrollable, forcing me to use flash instead. I can only use hide 3 times in this game.

In other words, I am a semi-compulsive vig/cop/protector??.

My cop sanity is unconfirmed though. What about yours?

I haven't used mine yet, but I'd be willing to use it to compare with you or target another player.

Now, why Haylen?

Of course, everyone said she was scummy.
ALSO... I wanted to make sure I didn't die night 1. That's why I targetted her.. Her response to Nikanor's "Daykill" really made me believe she was killable.

Thanks Nikanor.

No - I'm not a miller.
No - I'm not a buskeeper. I wish there were one though, that could explain why this result came up.

Ah...

I can use 1 and only 1 action per day/night cycle.

I killed N1, so I can flash this day or night or hide in night.
So, essentially, I can only flash if my tail isn't burning.

The next night (Night 3) I am forced to use slash.

I can only use hide 3 times in this game. It'd be really neat if the game lasted that long though.

Think of it as... Odd vig/even cop or protect.

Theories would be wayyyy overstating what I actually have.

If you want speculation though...
Busdriver
Sanity
Jebus is lying

If anything, I'm going with busdriver. (eh, more speculation - heart swap move or something? ha.)
Sanity - (2 investigating roles?... eh...)
Jebus is lying - (scum risking himself them early?.. .ehhh...)

Though, Wobbufett was pretty crazy. Destiny Bond... Reflect... possibly even a daykill. o_o

I wouldn't be surprised if everyone had crazy roles.

Ok fair!

Apparently I misread my role. It tells me what pokemon they are - in this case, I got a pokemon read on fallen_angel.

fallen_angel is a normal/flying pokemon. It is not a basic (non evolved) pokemon. I have the name, but if this is used for confirming fallen_angel, I would like him to answer.

Yet, he uses his cop ability without even questionning the legitimity of Jebus' request, even though he claimed he could hide himself at night to self-protect. He outwardly puts him in a suicide situation with such a powerful role just "cuz Jebus wants me too"

You are trying much too hard to appear town. No way you can just be town and throw your survival away like that when you're such a powerful role.

Mm - that's pretty much the reason why. I mean, it's not like anyone was going to refute the cop - unless someone busdrived me or something, and apparently seems it like no one did.

From what I understand, Mr. Suave doesn't have an investigative role - is this true?

Ouch.

oh! any time the town wants fallen_angel's pokemon name, I'm willing to pass the info.

It's just that - well - he's not here, so I don't know if it's for confirming or not.
