...as saberwolf falls to his what seems to be impending doom, he remembers he has a parachute on. He pulls the strap, and releases the chute, gently costing down towards the side of the hill. After a successful landing, he climbs back to the top of the hill, where he confronts SC, and attacks him for making confusing sentences [I make a hill a safe distance away from the top...how is that possible? ] I slit his throat and watch as his life trickles away, then kick him over the edge down into the valley. As his body falls down the hill, it knocks over yabbaguy, who was climbing the hill, and the pair of them fall down the hill. The repeat bashings to yabba's body eventually kills him as they reach the bottom.

I then get a sniper and make sure banana is truly dead at the bottom via headshot.

I'm starting to think we should convert this to an actual gamestyle...

points given (or an ownership meter filled) based on creativity of takeover, validity of takeover, ability to nullify or pick apart other people's attempts, and length of time owning the hill. If shared ownership, points are divided among owners. So, for example, MM, RF and I own the hill, and say I collected 20 points by now, and 500 is needed for total domination. I would have 20 plus 1 point for every kill done by me, 5 points for every kill attempt on me thwarted, and 10 points for every hour the hill is under my ownership. [which would be 3.33 per hour as I share with MM and RF] other rules and point systems could be added as well.

this isnt exactly creativity. This is...I'm not even sure what to call it, but it's usually frowned upon in things such as improv...you basically are denying an occurance and using nullvoids to do your work for you instead of coming up with a fresh unrelated concept to somehow tie to the pre-existing concept. For example you COULD of said that, like the movie I Robot, the defense system is bound to the 3 laws of robotics, and because you managed to convince them that harming you would be the greatest danger of all, the defense system would do nothing to stop you. You then found yabba and snapped his neck, killing him before he even hit the floor. You then took over the defense system for our own needs and our hill.

things such as the first post is dumb, our defense sytem was clearly targetted, and no ambiguity of the post was possible. Try to be a little better at defence than simply denying something occured. [/lecture]

FINAL JUDGEMENT

I applaud RF for his twisting of the use of the word "axe", but he disregards the fact that he was still thrown off the hill. RF succeeds in reducing MM's points from 15 to 10 by showing how MM simply removed him, but not killing him. RF's retaliation post will not count, one for being a contradictory post to MMs, and two for violating rule 3. Therefore MM gains 10 points and that is all. MM, [and everyone else] try to be more creative...I said avoid using the words revived by _____ for respawning.

Saberwolf lights and shoves fifty firecrackers down Digi's throat, and watches as the explosion kills him. Saberwolf then throws his body to the bottom fo the hill.

Ok, so here is how it works:

There is now conveniently a third hill that Saberwolf hasn't claimed yet, but with two hills under his belt, is happy to let somebody else claim it. This is going to be a little different from usual play:

There are three parts to the hill,

Bottom, Middle and Top

Everyone starts at the bottom. Everyone who is playing will PM me either one or two actions. You have 2 Action Points (AP) each turn. The actions they can perform as follows:

Attack:

This is a basic attack. You have the choice of sending in a rogue attackl, or a targetted attack. A rogue attack will randomly attack somebody who is in your section. If successful, the attack will delay their next turn. A targetted attack [a name PMed with the attack] will have the player attack the target. This one is simple...you climb one section of the hill. Cost: 1 AP

Descend:

Also simple...you move down one section of the hill. Cost: 1 AP

Wait:

Do nothing for this phase. While not particularly useful, it does allow you to carry over 1 AP to the next turn. Note that this cannot stack more than once, so 3 AP is the most you can have during any turn. Cost: 0 AP

Claim:

This can only be used when on the top of the hill. If you pull off a successful claim, you score a point. Cost: 2 AP

APs do not carry over [unless wait was used] which means if you dont use all your APs in the turn, tough. You start off at 2 APs every new turn [3 if waited previous turn]

The person to score ten points first wins round three and is proclaimed

Now to run through the stages of each turn:

PM phase:

You PM me how you wish to use your APs.
2.

Order phase:

I roll a 1d20 dice for each player, highest numbers to lowest numbers go for first action. Then I do the same for any second actions left to perform. In case of ties I will reroll.
3.

Action phase

I then post in order the results of the actions. People who have been successfully attacked get -2 added to their rolls, while people who were successfully super attacked get -5 added to their rolls, so Order Of Turn could still be changed during the action phase.
4.

Results phase

I then list any points scored during the turn and list the final positionings and conditions of everyone.

People cannot die at any time.
You can post inthread and make alliances/trash talk/backstab/whatever.

TURN 2 RESULTS

Mask man is the first to react as he climbs to the top of the hill. Ah2190, feeling an attack coming on, tries to defend himself, but RayFrost proves to be the quicker of the two, as he kicks him in the midsection, sending ah2190 tumbling to the bottom of the hill. Clearly disoriented by the fall, ah2190 starts jabbing at an invisible opponent at the bottom of the hill, while RayFrost joins mask man at the top of the hill. Mask man, sensing hostile intent, prepares himself in a defensive stance, but when RayFrost does nothing to attack, mask man lowers his guard, and the two of them stand at the top of the hill while ah2190 is losing a boxing match to an imaginary foe at the bottom of the hill...for now.

time to send in turn 3's PM.

I'm thinking of adjusting the attack function. You can choose to simply attack with no target or attack with a target. If you attack without a target, you will attack a random person in the area by a roll of the dice. While that may not be good for targeting specific people, it helps when you anticipating being thwarted by another attacker, plus it makes for some hilarious scenarios in the future. If you attack a random target, they stay on the hill section they are already on, but they will recieve a delay to their own actions. If the attack is targeted and successful, the person moves down a spot on the hill, as well as recieveing delay damage to their actions. If a targetted attack fails, well tough luck. Does this sound good? Should I change it, or keep it as is?

TURN 3 RESULTS

Ah begins his climb up the hill yet again, while RayFrost patiently waits for him to dare approach the top again. With an outstretch of his arms towards the sky, mask man yells out, "I AM KING OF THE HILL!". Realising he probably looked stupid for doing so, he then lowers his arms and stands around. Ah2190, suspecting that one of them probably was waiting for him to climb so that they could attack him, decided to wait it out on the middle of the hill, glaring at RayFrost as he did so. Rayfrost, deciding he had nothing better to do, decides to redundantly wait as well, and stare twice as hard back at ah2190.

TURN 4 RESULTS

Mask man takes over wait watch and lets RayFrost take a break. RayFrost takes this time to prance around, flailing his arms like the flaming homosexual. "Oh, look at ME! I'm King of this hill!" he cried out in glee. Mask man gave him an odd look of disgust as he continues to wait. Finally, mask man glimpses ah2190, puffing and panting as he crawls up the hill. Apparently somebody has been eating too many Twinkies on the couch. Just how much he's out of shape though, is very apparent, when no sooner did ah2190 step on the top of the hill....mask man gives him a gigantic push, sending him falling backwards, bashing himself in every area of his pudgy body as he falls to the very bottom of the hill. Poor ah2190 came nowhere close to attempting to defending himself, or even attacking mask man with his intended super attack for that matter. The only thing worse than what just occurred was what happened next. RayFrost ceased what he was doing, and before mask man even knew it, RayFrost had thrown himself into mask man's arms. When asked what he was doing, RayFrost claimed he was "defending mask man from a possible attack by ah2190". Disgusted, mask man drops RayFrost, and the two of them remain standing on the top of the hill, while ah2190 waves his arms helplessly in the air, unable to roll over or get up as he lies on his back at the bottom of the hill.

That's turn 4. turn 5 starts now.

TURN RESULTS...

Well, not a very exciting round. After a rigorous workout, ah2190, followed by his fitness coach, 12Keyblade, climbed together to the top of the hill, where RayFrost stood, waiting for them both. Things might get a little interesting now...will 12Keyblade side with ah2190 to even things up, or will the poor fellow continue to be ganged up on by everyone else playing?

Turn 7 starts now. MM, next time remember to PM me. Once again, anyone is welcome to join...I'd like to see more players.

when original creator leaves us to our own devices, and we start to lose interest in the current idea, we must evolve and try new things. What we have going is still KOTH, it's still entertaining, and it could very well lead to new official games if we ever decided if one round was better than any of the rest. While round 1 was fun, I found it lead to less creativity and strategy [although i know not all games need require it]. People have responded well to round two and three.
