Why? How else do you usually go about picking an informed minority from an uninformed majority?Archon wrote:I refuse to random vote to get conversation started.
And by not voting, do you realize that you're neutering one of the most effective tools the town has: vote history. Votes form a discernible pattern that can be used in conjunction to other scum hunting techniques. Players are also held accountable for their votes - no vote, no responsibility, no trail.
Upon a cursory meta search, I noticed that you cast random votes in Mini 801 and Mini 785 as town. What induced the sudden change of policy? So high, so low, so many things to know.

I don't feel like turning this into a theory disagreement. My concern is that you're now abiding by a strict policy, but haven't before. Answer my last question: Why the change from your town meta?Archon wrote: Random votes do nothing, as well are the usual thing to do. Usual things don't raise questions, and get the game going. Why do something orthodox and keep the game in a useless stage when you can do something unorthodox and start the conversation more quickly, and (possibly) have a better chance at analyzing players?
Get your head out of the wiki.Papa Zito wrote: There's a school of thought that the third voter on a bandwagon is likely scum. What do you think?
I noticed that when it's raining outside, chocolate is cheaper at my local supermarket. Chocolate must be produced by rain. That type of cause-effect inference is similar to using an observation made by the wiki to predict behavior out of context. It's a lovely guise for shitty cases from scum.
Business as usual.Papa Zito wrote: I'm at L-2 on the second page. Thoughts? So high, so low, so many things to know.

Keeping your hand hidden early on day 1 is a good pressure technique, even if your case is a bluff. I'm not concerned that Papa Zito is choosing not to explain his vote right now. Wouldn't want to tip the unwary.amconcerned that he's leaving the pressure there and not pursuing it further. So high, so low, so many things to know.

Precisely. And see whether or not someone followed his vote, which no one did.TDC wrote:Also, how could he possibly "pursure this pressure" without explaining his vote?
Post "Why is Nuwen still alive?"?
No, I'm not quaking in my flipflops.
Hohum- can we get a vote count?
There's only been one vote since my last vote count. and it was a vote by PZ for you.So high, so low, so many things to know.
