Well, here are my thoughts so far- Mastin is being, well, Mastin. I'd be more worried if he acted sane. Roflcopter seems a bit scummy to me for tunneling Mastin with no real reason. Kise's voting Johnny seems really weird to me. Why him, out of all the other people who haven't posted? Out of the 21 still alive, haven't only about 7 or so posted?Unvote, Vote Kise.- fallen angel

1) I'm not defending Johnny, I think it's stupid for Kise to vote someone for only posting once with little content when most of the posts were less scumhunting and more discussing Mastin and Khan. 2) I don't know rofl's meta, as I said, so I can't excuse him. As I said, I promise to metagame him.
@MafiaMann- How can you be sure that there is no SK/Vig who got lucky? The chances for a rival mafia to nail the mafia doctor are only slightly better then a vig/SK, (they have a few people who they know not to target) and so you can't know that mafia group one targeted the hypothetical second group unless you are a member of mafia group one.- fallen angel

Ok, scumlist time.
Mastin- Seems perfectly normal to me. Lots of scumhunting. Pro-town.
ZazieR- Mastin with shorter posts.
Roflcopter- Other then a ton of tunneling, not much suspicious about him. Pro-town.
ckool5000- Little content, comments more then really analyzes. What he does analyze isn't extremely helpful. Attempting to scumhunt. Neutral leaning towards town.
Faraday- Seems extremely pro-town. Looking forward to hearing from him.
Hayker- Backtracks and doesn't seem to be seriously scumhunting. Neutral at best.
Johnny Rotten- Waiting for his big post, but the case Kise put on him seems really weak. Not enough posts for a guess at alignment.
Kise- Weak vote on JR. Tried to put up a reason for it, and failed. Possible softclaim of a killing role, then backtracks. Neutral leaning towards scummy.
Khan- Early miller claim seems fine to me, I don't see why it was such a huge deal. He's obviously still a suspect, but an early miller claim seems like the right move, so that doesn't bother me. Other then that, seems to be scumhunting fairly actively. Pro-townish.
MM- Seems newbtown, but possible newbscum. I'm not great at differentiating between them. Didn't really analyze anything as much as bring up questions. Tunneled on Mastin's 2 factions claim. Very weak scumhunting. Neutral leaning at scummy.
Everyone else who has x<5 posts I didn't really analyze, I did JR more because of the case against him. To all unanalyzed players, OMG POST MOAR!! That is all.- fallen angel

Oh, to answer your question, probably ckool mostly because of IIoA. Kise's later reasoning was okay, it was the initial vote that made me suspicious. JR is a bit suspicious because he wants to policy lynch you for no good reason. The point of this game is to read and analyze, and wanting someone policy lynched because you don't want to read is stupid. It seems he must have some ulterior motive for trying to lynch you (you're a strong scumhunter, you suspect a scumbuddy, whatever the reason may be) and is trying to pass you off as anti-town for long posts. Policy lynches =/= pro-town, and should be used as little as possible.- fallen angel

And I'm a bit suspicious of your appeal to emotion. I'm not saying newbie behavior should be excused, all I am saying is you seem more like newb-townthen newb-scum. Are you condoning your own lynch?
Also, why do you find it suspicious that I consider you newbish?MafiaMann (parts bolded for emphasis) wrote:

Quantity =/= Quality. Active lurkers can still post a ton and be unhelpful. Mastin and Zazie (for the most part) have tons of posts with lots of content. If you can't post a ton, that's okay, but make them worthwhile, not just, "Hi, checking in, don't replace me." Those do nothing for us.ckool5000 wrote:Hey, aren't I posting a bunch?... Not saying that you did, I'm just saying don't in the future, even if large posts are hard. Do small ones. Point out suspicions. We don't all have to have extremely long posts.ckool5000 wrote:
Can you point to a single "checking in" post that I've made, or anything like that?fallen angel wrote: If you can't post a ton, that's okay, but make them worthwhile, not just, "Hi, checking in, don't replace me." Those do nothing for us.- fallen angel

Not really. He says that earlier I found him scummy and now I'm recanting. I said he seemed neutral but I thought some of the stuff he did was a bit scummy. Nothing to really sway me either way. More tomorrow, going to bed now.Kise wrote:[...]MafiaMann wrote:You definitely said leaning towards scum. Are you changing what you said initially?

I really don't think it changes anything. He could have just not been paying attention to detail, so I think a null tell.ckool5000 wrote:I only post a lot when I don't have much to say, then think of something then post it... Then think of something else and post that, and etc.... I'm going to have to leave a mental note in my brain that if either ZazieR or Achilles is scum, then they're not scum buddies... Since, wouldn't Achilles remember that ZazieR is female if he was her scumbuddy? That doesn't mean that they're not both scum, nor does it mean that they're scum at all!... They're probably just not scumbuddies...- fallen angel

Purposely misleading is a scumtell. Scum need to shape their own reality so that they can get other people lynched. Even if it is unintentional, it is still anti-town.Hayker wrote:It is still not a lie, regardless of how misleading it may or may not be. I would argue it's not misleading at all because i put all the "caution" statements but meh
Faraday- Meh, it wasn't really a suspects list as much of a "Out of all the stuff that has happened, these people strike me as acting oddly." None of them right now would be someone who I want lynched, more just IGMEO them. I admit I am a bit behind, however, so my views might be changed when I catch up.- fallen angel

Ckool-
1) Assuming there are multiple scumgroups, then the celebrating of a mafia doctor dead is an extremely valid tell.
2) Your "lol" scumtell situation looks like it would be more in the RVS, as most votes after have real reasons, like "He claimed serial killer" or something. It seems a null tell at best, and at worst an attempt to justify your actions. How would it make you less likely to care about a bad vote?
4) Meh. Not posting one day after the game starts isn't a scumtell/bad thing. It almost always takes me 1+ days to even notice my game has started. Again, null tell or justification.- fallen angel

Zazie- Mafia trying to wipe out other mafia faction, or a vig or SK trying to kill them, then there is no longer a doctor to just protect their scumgroup.
I thought I had commented on both of them. Ckool seems to attempt to scumhunt but give up when pressure was put on him. MM seemed to still scumhunt even when people questioned a few of his posts. I thought I had said MM was IIoA too, and found him suspicious because of that.
I see ckool's posting as scummy for his willingness to give up scumhunting, mostly. It seems that if he was actually pro-town, he wouldn't stop scumhunting, and wouldn't cave under pressure. What does post 420 mean?- fallen angel

Breadcrumbing is hinting at your role by subtle means. Or not so subtle. Revealing your role without a claim, just hinting at it. http://www.mafiascum.net/wiki/index.php ... Breadcrumb- fallen angel

Selective quoting being used to change the context of the quote is a weak tell, depending how out of context the quote is. If I say "I don't think we should lynch Mastin because he's a mod-confirmed innocent child," and was quoted saying, "Lynch Mastin, he's a child" then yes, that is quite scummy. However, if a paragraph having absolutely nothing to do with the point you are addressing, then it's a more questionable tell.- fallen angel
