Well, as someone who wants to hunt scum, what do you propose we do to get the game moving? We certainly can't twiddle our thumbs and wait for the scum to claim. Essentially, the most common way out of the RVS is to twist what someone said even though it might be considered BS later in the game.

I usually jump on the first legitimately scummy thing to happen. Don't twist anything as scummy. Maybe overblow it, but definitely don't twist.

I'll give a non-joke vote though for the sake of moving things along.

I'll answer your questions although they don't seem helpful.

1) I love to be scum. I feel I'm better at it and it's more fun.

2) Yeah, I actually PM'd the Mod asking whether I was cop or VT until I realized what game this is and there is no cop. So then I erased it from my outbox. (Mod, if you saw that you had a PM and then checked and didn't, that's why. XD)

3) The only difference is that scum are looking for the other scum. So someone who looks like they are genuinely scumhunting could still be scumhunting AND be scum. Definitely don't ignore seemingly protown players when you are looking for scum. Also, if two players seem like they aren't connected, both can still be scum from opposite groups. That's about it I think (and this was probably the only one of your questions that was useful...)

I believe in withholding my vote until I observe more behavior. If we lynch someone, the odds that we lynch scum is 31% which leaves the odds that we lynch a townie at 69%. This is one of the reasons why I feel uncomfortable jumping on the Fern bandwagon.

It was just after the RVS. I was trying to get something going, so I jumped on what I saw. The Huntress thing was weak, but it was there. Then the bandwagon on a decently scummy player was there, so I tried that. People just seemed so reluctant to get into this game.

I don't agree. I think it is very likely there is more than one scum either sheeping along or completely lurking in this game.

You are missing my point. I'm not saying the scum have to be among players who are actively posting and looking for scum. I'm saying that scumhunting will help scum to win the game. They need to try to find each other. Basically, scumhunting is less of a towntell here than it is anywhere else because someone can genuinely scumhunt and still be scum themselves.

There are two other games I've played with Zazier in.

Newbie 707, and Newbie 749. She lurked, and was replaced in both games.

Her lurking here is very comparable to the lurking she did in newbie 749.

That was the old Zazie. Zazie doesn't get replaced anymore and is now usually an active, and pretty good, player.

I fail to see how I am lurking more in this game than any other I am in.

Why is it that you have such a problem with Killa Seven, given that you seem to be just fine with Zazier being allowed to remain in the game despite not actually playing it?

Because I don't know K7 very well and actually don't know him at all outside of mafia games. Zazie is a close friend who I know has the ability to be an active/good player.

If you don't buy it, see EVERY SINGLE GAME I have ever played with Zazie. Someone accuses us of being scum because they sense a connection. We explain that it is a person connection, not a game-related one. We (usually) flip opposite alignments. We actually have been scum together twice, but usually one of us is scum and the other is town. Regardless of that though, the connection you are seeing is not game-related at all.

And I've seen Scotty's name around. I don't think I've actually played with her though. I think she replaced into a game after I died or something.

This all goes back to the Kise wagon. I definitely feel they reacted scummish. I'm more positive of KMD being scum over Furry and Zachrulez, so my vote is going on him.

-Started by asking a few questions, but didn't take any hard stances.
-Took the easy Darkstrike vote and blew it up as his first real stance
-Most of his attacks are small jabs
-Put Kise at L-2 for weak reasons without even mentioning him previously
-More concerned with lurker hunting than scum hunting

I could probably add to it, but I have to be at work in an hour and 20 minutes, so I'm just trying to catch up on everything right now.

Follows VP's vote on Fernando, that's about as far as he goes with explanation here.

This was mostly VP and I trying to get the game started. We made a few attempts at this and everything seemed to pretty much fail because it was so obvious that all we wanted was reactions.

Follows VP's vote on Darkstrike, absolutely no reasoning given except for "Let's do this."

It's quite interesting the big deal KMD makes about my Kise vote while little has really been mentioned about his.

In fact with my recollection of events, his reaction to VP as a whole was actually quite interesting. Seems like all his actions and reactions to him on day 1 were suited specifically to satisfy him.

I was satisfied with lynching Kise, so I voted as such.

On VP, this game started with very few players who I was really familiar with. VP and Zazie are the only two who started this game who I've played quite a bit with. So my posts regarding both of them may have come off as buddying. (I'm in a few ongoing with Kise too, but at the time he was alive, I'd only seen him around a couple of times)

-Says he's not posting much because he doesn't want to be attacked

Which is quite interesting because he calls my suspicion of Darkstrike scummy, yet weakly suspects him by calling him scummy. (With no reasoning to back it up.)

I put myself in your shoes. If I wanted Kise to vote his top suspect AND told him it was the pro-town thing to do, I would have at least remembered that "Hey, I really told him to do that." When VP brought up the main reason everyone piled on Kise. Since you were the one who asked it, I would at least think you wouldn't vote him for it.

My case. Plus you can take my word for it. He is scum. I have never been wrong about KMD's alignment in any game I played with him.
