Rules

0. This is a game. Have fun, don't let things get too personal.

1. Each day you may try to lynch somebody. A player is considered lynched when they have a simple majority of votes. You may also vote for "No Lynch", which is a vote not to lynch anyone.

2. Vote should be in the form

Vote: Playername

. Votes must be bolded and in this format or they may not count. It is also necessary to unvote anyone you're voting for before voting for another player. If you fail to do so, your vote may not be counted.

3. If discussion lags, a deadline may be set. This deadline can be placed or removed entirely at my discretion. At the deadline, the number of votes required to lynch someone will decrease by one. If this still does not cause a lynch, or if there is a tie, there will be No Lynch.

4. After a majority to lynch has been reached, do not talk in the thread. Wait for me to get here and announce Night.

5. Do not edit your posts. Ever. No matter what. No, really. Don't do it.

6. Do not quote any PMs you recieve from me, or pretend to. You may paraphrase, or fake-paraphrase.

7. If you die, you're dead. Do not talk until the game is over; this includes talking to living players outside the thread.

8. Mafiates may communicate with one another at night, but not at any other time. Other than that, do not talk to other players outside the thread.

9. Please let me and the other players know if you will have limited/no access for more than a day or two.

10. Do not change the size of your font or otherwise modify the words in your posts so that they are not clearly visible to everyone.

After a fairly lengthy discussion, a near-majority have decided that they wish to hang zindionne. They begin dragging him up to the gallows despite the lack of consent by the other five members of the town. His head is placed in the noose without any agreement to necessarily go through with the kill. "Anything to say for yourself?" someone asks him. zindionne remains silent. Suddenly, LynchHimNotMe runs up and shoves zindionne into oblivion before anyone can react. The other seven townspeople stare in shock. Finally, someone recovers enough to regain the presence of mind to check for some sort of identity. image pulls an identification card from his pocket and reads it aloud, finding one particularly revealing line...

The town awoke to a horrific orderly scene after the first night. The remaining mafiate had apparently resorted to scare tactics of a sort. The body of their victim lay disfigured in the center of the town square for all to see. Everyone looked disgusted, but one of them was faking it...
The other sall worried that they might be next. But determinedly they prepared themselves for another long day.

The victim didn't appear to have any special powers but they will be mourned nonetheless.

A seond day found the already once-successful town full of hope. Perhaps they would be able to rid their town of the mafia menace after all! After gathering in the town square, the town begins to consider lynching ZEEnon. He puts up a frail display of defense, but in the commotion of debate LynchHimNotMe once again ends the bickering with a sudden move. Could the town possibly succeed with such a move again? image solemnly begins to read his identification card...

Taking no time to question how this ID card apparently knew the future, the townies rejoice. It's over!

So... yeah. I feel like the quick game was partially my fault for not replacing zindionne fast enough, after that ZEEnon basically gave up judging by his PMs and effort. Can't say I blame him that much. The most important thing I can say about this game: Don't assume LynchHimNotMe's play in this game was good. Quickhammering is not a good idea and in my opinion he got pretty lucky. ZEEnon probably should have killed him (he was going to and changed it) but I don't think it would have made a difference. Sironigous didn't look overwhelmingly protown so he probably would have lived long enough to wrap up the game for town if it wasn't over for a day or two.

It took 3 days + for the game to resume.

ZEE was the only one who went MIA then.

I make it a policy to allow night to go the full 48 hours regardless to help avoid this line of reasoning. Zee also made his choice very quickly. The only reason night took over 48 hours is because I forgot XD
