Before we begin, some ground rules.
Boring and Long Rules List
MafiaScum rules.
Follow them. They take precedence over these.
Mod communication.
Don't quote it, especially private ones. That means role PMs.
Private communication.
Only use the threads I provide. Don't PM other players, use other PTs for talking about this game, or use any other medium to communicate about the game to other players. I'm fine if you mention the votecount in-thread.
Games.
You're in this one. Play to win it.
Cryptography.
I don't like it. Don't hash your posts or use a Caesarean cypher or anything like that.
Small text.
Don't use it. Anything smaller than the Small size will get bumped up in size, except for [\ooc] tags.
Games of chance.
Don't play them. Provable RNG is prohibited.
The L-Word.
Don't use it.
Pronouns.
Respect them. If this is an issue, PM me about it. I'll put them in the next votecount.
My mod color is
#0FBF15, bold.
You may use colors similar to it, however, using the color itself isn't neat.
My flavor color
is
#888888, italicized
. This will denote information that is not necessary to read to play the game, but will improve your immersion should you read it.
After death
you are permitted one contentless bah post. Posting content in a bah post, making multiple bah posts, or bahposting in PTs will get you warned and the bah censored.
Any questions?
Ask. Please use PMs, though — that guarantees that I see it and that any potentially sensitive information is kept sensitive.
Ballot Counting
VOTE: Cook to cast. UNVOTE: without a name on the inside is fine, same with including the vote name. You may use nicknames or shortenings, so long as it's clear who you're referring to.
I do not accept bolded votes as a rule of thumb.
If I think it counts, it counts.
If I can't tell who you're referring to, it won't.
Hammer by simple majority.
Once majority is reached, no new or changed votes will be permitted.
You may cast a vote for no-hammer.
Simple majority
(more than 50% of votes are for it) rules.
Deadlines and Timing
The first day lasts
ten
days. Days otherwise last
seven
days, nights last
one-and-a-half
(36 hours).
Once a hammer vote has been cast, we enter a phase of Twilight, in which you may continue posting until the flip happens.
Any posts made post-flip will be redacted.
Unusual to us, even if I am watching the thread when hammer occurs, twilight is guaranteed to last one hour.
Days will end faster if a hammer happens.
Nights will end faster if all players vote to nightskip.
Prods, Replacements, and Activity
Prods will be issued every 36 hours without game-advancing content. Even something as simple as "Cook is scum" or "Let's vote Cook" counts as advancing content.
If you are prodded, you have 24 hours to respond or I will search for a replacement.
If you are prodded 3 times throughout the game, I'll search for a replacement.
If you are on V/LA, instead, I will poke you every 36 hours. Two pokes is a prod.

Random Nurse has failed to pick up his role PM. I will begin searching for a replacement in about 8 hours if he does not confirm or post in the thread.

Night One has begun! There will be 36 hours left in the deadline. I am currently handling a replacement so this deadline will be frozen until the replacement confirms.

I think I miscounted votes. I'm going to recount the past couple VCs to make sure everything's accurate. There should be no change in the day resolution, however.

Found it. KittyTacky voted yessiree in post 769, which put yessiree at E-1. I fixed votecount 2.05 and the final votecount. Still looking at starting in 12 hours unless something catastrophic happens IRL.

The Setup
Alien Modifier
(with Frail, Hammerer, and Vulnerable shots)
Alien Neighbor Rolecop
Alien Informed Novice Vanillaizer
(informed of: "The Town is only able to get 1 guilty result on your team.")
Town 1-Success Disloyal Checker
(Loses its ability once it successfully targets someone.)
Town Neighbor
Town Neighbor
Town Reporter
(Targets someone to see if they acted or not.)
Vanilla Townie
Vanilla Townie
Vanilla Townie
Vanilla Townie
Vanilla Townie
Vanilla Townie
The Aliens have the following factional abilities:
Nightkill (1):
As the Alien faction, you have only one shot of a nightkill. Use it wisely.
Alien Tech (Bloodsucker):
Your team also has an Alien Tech invention, which you can use once. This invention is a
Bloodsucker
. Target someone with this ability at night. Assuming no interference with your action, your target will become a Treestump (voteless and unable to act at night, but still able to post).
Frail - dies if targeted by any night action.
Hammerer - automatically has their vote moved onto a wagon that's at E-1 if it isn't already there.
Vulnerable - any action which targets them will automatically succeed.
Natural Action Resolution applies as best as it can. This means that role changes resolve after everything else. Players are informed when their role changes.
Further clarifications that I wrote out in case they were asked about:
Spoiler: clarifications
- the modifier will tell its target what modifier they received and what it does exactly.
- the vanillaizer will tell its target that their role has been changed to vanilla, if and only if it changes the role.
- if the modifier and the vanillaizer target the same player at the same time, the target will become a vanilla of their faction. (if a role is added and taken away in the same night, the removal trumps the addition).
- since vanillaization resolves last in order, power roles will function on the night they are vanillaized. afterwards, they will be removed.
- i will announce additions to PTs (the dead PT being the only case where this is true), but "under the normal assumption that you would know if someone would be removed from a PT", i will not announce removals from PTs (due to hood members/aliens dying, or from vanillaization).
- alien tech is a factional action that can be undertaken by any alien. due to inherent multitasking, an alien may perform the factional kill and perform the alien tech ability on the same night at the same time. these may also be split
- because role changes happen after everything else, if a role is modified the night that it dies, the role change will fail to resolve.
- rolecop gets a report before a role change, so if both a modifier/vanillaizer and a rolecop target someone, the rolecop will see their previous role, and then their role will change afterward.
- hammerer's effect is public — the vote automatically moves.
- bloodsucker flips its target publicly — essentially flipping them and removing all other abilities except talking in the main thread. they will lose PT access in this case

Night Actions
Night One
Flavor Leaf (Reporter) targets Naerys (target doesn't move)
Doctor Drew (1-Success Disloyal Checker) targets Gamma Emerald (action fails)
yessiree (Neighbor Rolecop) targets KittyTacky (target is Vanilla)
Looker (Modifier) targets Roden to assign "Vulnerable" (Roden is informed of this)
Night Two
Looker (Modifier) targets Celebloki to assign "Frail" (Celebloki is informed of this)
Elements (Vanillaizer) targets Flavor Leaf (Flavor Leaf is given a Vanilla PM)
Flavor Leaf (Reporter) targets Elements (target moves)
Doctor Drew (1-Success Disloyal Checker) targets Roden (action succeeds, shot expended)
Roden is Vulnerable, which makes all actions succeed on him.
Night Three
Roden is Vulnerable, which makes all actions succeed on him.
Celebloki is Frail, which makes him die if he is targeted by any night action.
Looker (Modifier) targets Celebloki to assign "Hammerer" (Celebloki dies because of the targeting, and the modifying fails)
Looker (Nightkill) targets KittyTacky (KittyTacky dies)
Looker (Alien Tech (Bloodsucker)) targets Gamma Emerald (Gamma Emerald flipped and treestumped)

incidentally due to how i counted the votes this time i can provide stats on them
There were 73 votes this game. 31.5% of them were on Aliens.
Here is a pie chart of everyone who cast votes. Below it is a pie chart of where those votes went.
Gamma Emerald, Doctor Drew, Roden, and Flavor Leaf together cast 52% of the votes this game.
Pages 1, 7, and 10 are tied for having the most votes on them, with 6 apiece.
