Going to play real, in-person Magic today for the second time since the pandemic! MH2 prerelease today at an LGS back home that I haven’t been to since, ironically, release weekend for MH1

Good news: the Scalding Tarn in pack 1 was the second most expensive card in its pack

Foil Misty Rainforest! Also got a Marsh Flats later, but that was basically the entire value I pulled aside from a mythic that’s currently $8 and has to be on its way down.

Yeah absolutely. I looked into selling stuff at the LGS I played at, but they wanted to wait until actual release so that the prices have a chance to stabilize.

My answer to Gamma’s question was “why not both?” So I went Mardu but only went 1-2 because of the usual reason people don’t build 3 colors in limited.
