Pooky's role has a brutal Posting Restriction, like Val. The role is Wallposter. The role prevents us from posting more than one time every 23 hours. We have the exact same penalty for failing to adhere to the post restriction as Val did.

If everyone has a post restriction with the same penalty, and we have no actual power, this game is probably going to be harder than a mountainous.

This role, designed for Pooky, doesn't actually hurt me too much since I generally only ever post once a day in any game, lol. I just need to be conscious of it now.

I can confirm that I was allowed my first two posts that didn't count towards my restriction, so I have no doubt that Enchant knows the specifics of the Wallposter PM. I'm not sure how that is a troll role for them though, as it has been pointed out that is something they would probably have been doing naturally.

Roles were not randomly assigned, only alignment, and even then, the OP had it conditioned that even alignment could have been specifically chosen for specific players. It was amended to state that the alignments were later randomized, however at one point, alignments weren't necessarily random. The whole point of the game is for the mod to give you a role card that is decidedly "not you," and was the reason I didn't sign up for the game in the first place because I didn't want to get a scum role.

Maybe scum don't have a night kill, that'd be a troll for them, lol. I mean, this is going to be massively difficult with two players on a 23 hour posting cool down, it would be far too easy to just manipulate day play AND have a night kill. It's probably why one person died before game start too. 3 mis-elims puts us in LimLo and that's not even considering one player is a Priest.

What exactly is the point of abstaining, and why do we have two votes for it, and one frozen on it? Someone explain like I'm 5 why this is a good play?

I'm not convinced Enchant has the Wallposter role even though Toogeloo claims that the semantics match up. It's very possible the Werewolves have received additional divine inspiration and made a reasonable guess based on what they have. I commented on some earlier Enchant posts that I didn't like. Of the more recent ones, I'm not a fan of 161. It is rather wasteful for starters, and it comes off very much as posturing.

I want to mention that I actually do have a similar thought process. Enchant getting Wallposter doesn't seem like a very big troll against them. Additionally, they didn't take the chance to hammer, which is also oddly out of character of Enchant.

However....

It has been imparted to me the meaning of abstaining. An abstain is neither a vote for nor against. Indeed, it is a vote to not vote. Thus, abstentions lower the number of votes needed to reach a majority and thus a hammer. I have full faith in everyone's ability to pick correctly hence why I have frozen my abstention.

With your vote frozen on Abstain, that would bring majority down to 7 based on this information you told us, and my vote should have hammered. Is this not correct?

Flea, you are hedging on Enchant. That's why I find you more likely scum if Enchant is town.

As for mala, I didn't like the piggyback off of Roden. Considering I like RadRat and Roden as town, my thoughts were scum in Enchant, Mala, and you (Flea).

Well, here's how things stand now.

-It takes 4 votes to eliminate today, meaning 2 votes are not required.
-My vote is frozen on Enchant.
-If either Enchant or I is not town, then all 4 votes to eliminate someone can still come from town.
-If both Enchant and I are town, them in order to get a scum elimination today, one scum must bus the other.
-If am now breaking posting restrictions, which means that if I live today, I will be auto-voting based on a list I create during the Night phase. If I fail to make the list, I self vote automatically.
-We have no more Night phases.
-If I am wrong on my list, scum can then hammer at their liesure.

I received a private message from NK15 about my car's extended warranty.

I was involved in a head on collision last night. I was driving, my two kids were in the car. A teenage boy veered into my lane at high speed, and thankfully I was able to brake in time and attempt to swerve right, so only I sustained serious injuries, my kids suffered minor ones.

I want to ask for several days of V/LA as my left hand is bad shape, I have a couple of hematomas on my neck and leg, I have staples in the back of my head, and for the most part, I just feel like shit.

I may not be around to finish this. So if you prefer I replace out, I will.

Rat could have easily hammered me after Flea's vote.

For the record, I actually considered Rat during the night phase. Their penalty for breaking post restriction being different than every other post restriction violation made me question the authenticity of their role.

However, the back and forth with Roden on the dead hammer day seemed way too sincere to be scum theater, and I still felt strong with my early town reads on the slot, so I held my ground and stuck with Flea.
