It was a scum win helped along by two townie self-hammers. Night two the cop (Oman) checked him out, but Crub insisted he was the kill, and he did a great job (imho, at least!) of getting to the end with a well timed bus assist on me and closing the game out.

Like ooba, I was in both games and Fourth/Third (or w/e they're at) both games. They were each awesome fun. I actually think the cult recruiter and scum had fun admitting to their guilt when caught in Darkstalkers

I think a mix of quantity and quality would be best.

Signing up for one game as an IC and doing a great job shouldn't win the award, and neither should signingup for a hundred and doing a poor job.

Perhaps nominations should be made only by either newbie mods and/or IC's (kinda obv- they're the people most likely to come into contact with ICs often enough to say who has done well).

Despite having her partner immediately under suspicion and consequently lynched Day 1, Pie managed to go through the entirety of the game without a single player questioning her innocence, playing some experienced ICs and a pretty good standard of newbie players like fools to win the game. I can't imagine a more impressive way to win your first game.

Oh, man. If that Pie is also good, then I'm gonna get confused.

Indeed. I'm not a frequent consumer of Open Games (like one, ever), but to make such a transition seamlessly without any bitching in either MD or SI is awesome.
