We probably don't want to over look the possibility that there may be 3 killing groups or people. The weak doctor could have protected an innocent and got killed by another person/group. I think the assumption is flying around that he got killed for protecting scum.

I think the concern is talking about pro-town roles. Initially I thought my post was harmless but I guess saying "killing groups" does not preclude pro-town killing groups. I will not mention it again. We should definately not be talking about any setups that could lead to revealing pro-town roles for fear it will give the scum players information.

I realize it's unlikely but it is interesting that 3 roles were hit during the night phase. It makes me wonder if there is not an abundance of roles this game.

No I don't think I did the same as sche. I was thinking in terms of non pro-town roles but then I realized that what I was saying could possibly lead to talk about pro-town roles. This is concurrently my first game (3 ongoing) and admittedly I have not learned ALL the possible roles.

Also, I am not convinced that Sche is scum yet. I believe the point of FoS is that you think that something they said is suspicious but aren't completely convinced of their scumminess yet. Is that not correct?

Clearly people don't like the use of FoS. I am suspicious of Scheherazade so if it makes people feel better for me to use vote instead of FoS,

FoS is basically getting up on a high horse and saying I formally accuse you of suspicious activity using bold text! when that should already be apparent from your reason for your FoSing in the first place. In other words, it's overrated, pretentious, and only good for being parodied (i.e. Middle Finger of Suspicion).

Sorry to disappoint. Between the time you made your vote against me and the time I got home from class iamusername made his point that hit the nail on the head for me and I realized the appropriate thing to do was stand by my suspicions. There was no reason to argue with anyone who voted for me previously because they were right.

If my opening post was role-fishing for doctors or vigilantes, then it must also be role-fishing for serial killers and mafia (scum), because I gave all four the same treatment. If you call what I was doing role-fishing, then you must admit that I was role-fishing for mafia as well as pro-town. If I were role-fishing for mafia, then it was equally pro-town because it was scum-hunting as well as role-fishing.

So you are saying if you were scum you would have not talked about the anti-town roles at all? The fact you talk about giving all four equal treatment indicates to me that you had forethought and intent. Would a scum not include all four as well?

His vote for Juls and evasion are odd. I understand that he wouldn't want to say "I vote Juls to put pressure on her" when he cast the vote. But why put pressure on Juls, of all people? He must have had a reason for choosing her.

This is a weak argument Sche. I know it's weird that I would defend the person who voted against me but it was fairly obvious that I got a string of 3 votes within a period of an hour. al4xz knew I was online so he was probably looking for a knee jerk reaction to come within 10 minutes of his post. However, what al4xz did NOT know was that shortly after the first vote came in I had to leave the computer for a while to go to class and did not return until 5 hours later. So by that time several people had posted and his point was moot. I don't find his actions to be scummy.

I have to agree Percy. I have waded through to mounds of text that Scheherazade has put up and I have yet to be convinced to change my vote. I also agree with others that Der Hammer is suspicious but I don't think I am as strong in those thoughts as other people are. The problem I am having is I can't resolve how they would both come out on D1 so obnoxious. So I am sticking with Sche for now as well.

I would like to hear from Scheherazade. His lack of posts makes me think he is scum even more and can't come up with a good "argument" to save himself. He is on the site and has made multiple posts on Saturday, Sunday, and today. I think if he were town he would be fighting harder.

I decide to join in but with a no reasoning vote so that I would appear scummy. In this way, if Juls was a scum, she might attempted to direct attention to me since I voted w/o reasoning behind it in that post.

Hmmm...I thought I understood your vote originally, but now with your new explanation I am not so sure. So you wanted to pretend to be scum to make me look like scum? I don't think I get that? Perhaps its my newbishness showing through but that seems more like an ex post facto argument.

I understood your original explanation to mean that you wanted to solicit an "over the top reaction" from me to see if you could garner any information from it. I don't know if I like this "I was pretending to be scum" argument.

I forgot this game had deadlines!!! I will do a re-read tomorrow morning and add something if it strikes me. I have been reading but really don't have much to add. At risk of sounding like a broken record, I really don't see much more from Sche to make me move my vote.

I'm a town player who has had a poor day. It has allowed the Mafia to have a free pass so in that aspect I apologise.

Look at the players however who have completed consistantly tryed to deflect all attention onto me while they slip by. Thats the list of players that mafia probably can be picked from on Day 2.

So you are saying that you are town who has had a bad day. Therefore we should lynch Sche, completely forgive everything you have said during Day 1 and accept you as town after the lynch and concentrate on who targetted you? Why would we do that? I agree with Zazier. your reasoning is very flawed.

Good game everyone! I have been skimming along as it went on. Just from skimming I think Vi did a great job and until Tar and Rhinox came in he/she was sitting pretty. Good job Vi! It sucks that my replacement was the idiot known as Puta Puta. I don't know if I would have made it all the way but I think I would have made it a lot longer than Puta Puta did! I also think Caboose was doing a good job. I don't know what Darox did or said but I was surprised that he came in and got lynched so quickly.
