Sure; if we're wrong about you, it means we've probably just lost.
But if we're right, we have only one scum left.
If we had no-lynched, then we would come into the day with HH, who's pretty much confirmed, and 4 players of dubious status, giving us a 50% chance of losing the game despite our no-lynch the previous day.
This way was certainly more risky, but probably has a better payoff- undo

Sorry for the delay.
With 4 votes, hasdgfas has been lynched!
Another day of heated discussion which was leading to nowhere. The shadows were already growing long, and the town had to make a difficult decision. If they failed once more, they would probably be unable to fight the Hebrew menace anymore.
They eventually decided that it would be best if each and everyone of the presents revealed its identity. Naturally, nobody claimed to be a Hebrew... but some of the statements raised suspicions.
At the end of the day, the representatives of Egypt decided that hasdgfas's alibi was the least coherent and believable... and thus, perhaps too hastily, hasdgfas was stabbed to death right there, without possibilities of defense.
Worried with their impetuous attitude, the Egyptians rushed to the house of hasdgfas... and with a mixed sense of relief and joy, they found that staff. That trebly cursed staff which had been responsible for so many deaths and so much suffering.
That would be Egypt's first night of jollity in many days. For they had - finally - found and killedhasdgfas, aliasMoses, Hebrew prophet. But this was far from being the end of the nightmare...
Please send in your choices untilSeptember 5 at 8 PM GMT
Also, Mr Stoofer asked to be replaced. I will only start Day 5 when I find a replacement for him.- undo

I am very sorry for this delay, but at the current circumstances, it wouldn't be wise to start this game without the replacement for Mr Stoofer.
Meanwhile, strife220 offered himself to be that replacement and I have agreed. I know it is not advisable to let a dead player replace in the same game later, but I was getting desperate, and so were you, I suppose. I know that this fact will most probably interfere with your in-game judgements, but the alternative was to shut the game down, so I hope you all understand the situation.
Without further ado, let's move on to Day 5.Last edited by undo on Fri Sep 26, 2008 12:04 pm, edited 1 time in total.- undo

The Egyptians had slept well that night, believing that their dark days were almost over. However, it would seem that the death of Moses did not suffice to put an end to the plagues nightmare.
When they woke up, the appalled Egyptian people saw a cloud of desert locusts taking shape in the sky. Suddenly, the famishing grasshoppers ferociously flown at the Egyptian barley fields. They looked like demoniac insects from the underworld, as they crumbled all the cereal of Egypt in dust.
When they left, a few minutes later, there was nothing to see but yards and yards of razed crops. Their unsatiable hunger was stronger than any other natural disaster Egypt had ever seen. And although this plague didn't cause any demise yet, its consequences will surely be calamitous...
With 5 alive, it's3 to lynch.- lord_hur

Hi all,
Like Undo said, me replacing in was obviously not ideal, but I only offered after the game was under threat of shutting down. The only information I have from my previous role was my own PM. So if Undo is willing to, I think quoting the role PM would probably be fairest to everyone.Limited access, Aug 29 - Sept 3- HackerHuck

That locust thing could kill stark (and Lawrencelot, but I think he's scum) and possibly drive HH mad (make him scum maybe ?) so I think we should seriously hurry.
undo probably waited for the replacement to start the day because there's a timer in real days. All lurkers unite! And jump off the nearest cliff. Now.- stark

Thanks for replacing back in. Unfortunately, I'm going to need a reread, since I've forgotting too much about this game.
We lynched Moses because LH broke the game.
Hasdgfas' partner is Lawrencalot.- lord_hur

I'd like to think that it isn't so easy to break this game.
I'm also not following the conversation around the locusts and it killing people or driving me mad.
The only thing that the flavor gives away is that the staff used to cause the plagues was found with Moses when we killed him. I'm assuming that means no more plagues, but that doesn't mean the scum can't kill.- lord_hur

Hur's worries seem pretty reasonable, with something bad surely happening down the road.undo wrote:When they left, a few minutes later, there was nothing to see but yards and yards of razed crops. It worked once, don't see why it shouldn't work again...strife220 wrote:
