Yeah, well, ya see, it's pretty hard to post when you get to the thread every time some asswipe has shot town and I have to wait 48 MORE hours to try to post. I've been trying EVER SINCE MY GREAT SHOT to post in this thread, and I finally had a chance. That was of course a joke my kill. Yours was the first name that came to mind. fl's definatly innocent, as she killed the GF, unless there were two GF's from the beginning. I find that unlikely to be honest, that'd be too screwy I think, my theory is that the reason a Goon may have the ability to replace the GF, if that's true, is to stop us just confirming players one by one by having them shoot before we eventually pick off the scum through trial-and-error shooting and confirming.

I personally feel setting up with two GFs would be a bastard mod move. I mean, seriously, the chance of shooting the GF like I did before they got confirmed by shooting themselves, was pretty low. I basically did something outside the statistical likelihood of the setup. 2 GFs to protect against that would be mess up.

I DO however think the idea that a goon replacing the godfather would be a good balance to a stray bullet taking the GF out early, and might be a good idea to take a look into. I'm surprised it didn't occur to me.

Easy, we discuss for 24 hours, and then we shoot. It's almost certain another godfather exists now. No one is confirmed anymore. We need to figure out what to do with that though.

I personally like the theory we had a goon that was promoted to Godfather when the godfather died. This makes a lot of sense since the GF died first. I'm more willing to believe people who shot after I killed the GF are scum.

Bad assumption. Killing scum for a long term victory is a wise move, which is why if there were two GFs to start with, I'm most likely to be that GF. However, there's also the fact if it's promotion, I can't be the GF. I can only think I've been kept alive to take this fall, but I also know I'm town.

Erratus shot someone. Traditionally in this game, the godfather can't shoot. Since query is eager to kill, I don't think he's godfather. Obviously, if he doesn't kill for a few days, my view will change.

Goons are meat shields for Godfathers basically. The assumption is by this point in the game, you've gone through all the goons. They served their purpose because now the Godfather is hidden amongst a confirmed group. In theory, my killing the GF D4 SHOULD have locked the game. Clearly the mod wasn't too keen on that. I'm assuming one godfather left and no goons.

Forbiddenlight- forgive me for asking but have you ever won as town? I'm just wondering how good your 'trained guessing' really is. You did get the godfather, which is (much) better than I've done so far but I'm still curious.

Not on MS (but I only have one complete game anyway). Actually, I tend to be lynched rather early but usually conclude who the scum are (or already have) after I've died. It's useless but tends to be the case. Also the fact most games I play are cardflip off (i.e, roles not revealed on death), makes things rather interesting for trained guessing, lol. But, let's see...I've probably won as town (if you count town winning even though I'm NK'd/lynched) in about half the games I've played (as town), which is around 20ish games. So, just depends on how you want to take that.

Um...probably not. The reason we have a lot of cops is because they drop like flies in this game. I suppose it's possible, but a read of the last Bad Idea Mafia shows sane cops.

It's possible that either (or indeed, both) of Query and iamausername is a Goon, if Niv is Naive. Given the nature of Niv's results, Niv cannot be an insane cop, but he can be naive. We need to determine if it's likely.

If this follows the same pattern as the last game, (ie, 1 GF and all sane cops), then the last scum are in these.

One problem, by that same logic EVERYONE is cleared. If it follows the same pattern as last game, goons can't shoot. Meaning there has to be at least one shooting scum (which would be new), or multiple godfathers.
