1. This is a turn-based game. Each turn consists of a Movement Phase and a Bloodbath(or Action) Phase. During the movement phase, you may move to other places in the
mansion
by posting "move:location
" in the thread. You can change your mind as often as you like until the Movement Phase is over.2. During the Bloodbath Phase, you may not move anymore, but you may PM me an action to perform (see Actions, below.)
3. You will recieve your win conditions in your Role PM. You may reveal your win conditions in-game if you like, but there is no rule stating that you must. Also, quoting any game-based PM's, including role PM's, will result in a modkill.
4. Phases end when the mods say they end. No extensions, unless the mods see fit.
5. What happens in the game may affect your win conditions.
Factions:
These are the main factions in the game. These determine whose side you are on and what your basic win conditions are (though you may have others.)
Innocents
or Townies
: Your goal is simply to survive until all everyone that wants to kill you is gone. You can do this simply by hiding and defending yourself, or by going out and killing these things.Exorcists
: Your goal is to kill all of the Ghosts. Nothing else really matters to you, including whether the Innocents live or die.Ghosts
: Your goal is to kill all of the non-ghosts. You know who the other Ghosts are and can communicate with them secretly outside of the thread.The killing ability of the factions goes in this order:
Ghosts>Exorcists>Innocents
The number of players in each faction goes in reverse order:
Innocents>Exorcists>Ghosts
Actions:
During the Bloodbath Phases, you must PM me one of the following actions to take. If you perform an action in the same room as someone else, there is a chance they will see you do it. This chance varies depending on what you do. (Obviously, you're more likely to get noticed by killing someone with an axe than pickpocketing that same person.)
Use
: Use one of the items in your inventory. If applicable, choose a player in the same room to use the item on.Attack
: Attack someone or something using an item in your inventory.Defend
: Use an item in your inventory to defend yourself against attackers.Search
: Search the room for items.Room-Specific Actions
