The word "Also" when used to start a sentence usually implies nervousness, a side effect of being a scummy human. If you have a good point you don't need an "Also" to back said point up.

I've never played with a tracker before. What's a tracker do?

(I usually play this game offline so I'm still really new to online wolf. I thought I was the seer. Also from now on I'll be making my night actions public since I claimed. Tracking Battle Mage tonight.)

As to people saying my "Also" post was scummy... I was trying to stir the water. Which I accomplished. I no longer believe SP is a wolf based on several things. I don't think SP is so good at being scum she'd fake many of the posts she made.

I honestly don't know what my power does. In all the werewolf games I've ever played we had a Cop and a Jailer who could protect someone from scum kills.

I wonder if there are three scum and I track one by luck and the scum do a night kill would I see that scum "talk" to the victim or would I have to target the specific scum who did the night kill? Is there like a scum leader who is in charge of the actual night kill?

I just did a readthrough of the thread checking only your posts.

You pop in whenever someone does something questionable and ask them why they did it.

I have absolutely no reason to believe you are scum right now. You appear to be one of the most innocent players we've got, aside from those who have died.

Either you're really good at this game or you're innocent.

(PS the confusion over the use of the word cop stems from my history with this game. I first started playing online mafia here: http://sharkey.gamespite.net/forum/inde ... opic=451.0 - my nickname on those boards is Guildenstern and at the bottom of that post is a short piece I wrote on the history of Mafia... anyway as you can see what you call a Cop I call a Seer, and I mistook Cop for Jailer, a person able to lock down a player's powers for the night... hopefully you can see why I'm so confused for now, but after a few games on mafiascum I am completely certain I'll have no problem getting my vernacular right)

I was totally jazzed to learn about it because IRL games are so hard to organize that they're infrequent at best. Eventually that site led me to greylabyrinth where i heard about mafiascum... and here I am, on the single largest mafia site on the internet that I've so far found. Then I posted a bunch of boring stuff about how I found mafiascum in a game thread and probably got lynched for it.

None of this really changes that you claimed tracker when you were completely ignorant of what a tracker is. The role PM's explain what roles do, and I find it hard to believe you didn't read the pm at all.

If that's not vague as all f***, you can kiss my ass. As far as I knew in mafia games you don't get to talk to people in secret, so "who they talk to" made me think "oh, so I can tell if they're scum or not. I'm a seer, otherwise known here as a cop."

NO. It says I am a Werewolf Tracker, then there's a blurb that reads words to the effect of "You can follow a person to see who they talked to that night." For the last time, meaning that I will not address this issue again, I misinterpreted the PM due to the wording that I was a Cop (which I have previously known as Seer). The error was with the mod for not simply saying in the PM "You are able to see a person's target for the previous night." Had the PM said this I would not have had the issue with translation.

If you announce your target ahead of time, while there is more than one mafia left, you are NOT confirming townies. At all. Thats why it was brought up.

I see... this fact removes my ability to reaction-gauge-vote people, a tactic I prefer. So be it. From now on, if I vote someone, they night-actioned a nk'd townie. Fair?
