Finally got here while the thread was open!

People seem to be forgetting a mechanic from the original games. Read the Goon PM's from Bad Idea 1 and 2: the Goons served as backup for the Godfather. (IIRC, in the first game they were just listed as Mafia Goon upon death, so that counterargument does not hold.)

I don't think it's inconceivable that we have another Godfather lying around somewhere. I'm going to make an intuitive leap here and say that, if said Godfather exists, his name is probably Xtoxm (brought up the BOGUS "Godfather is dead, so Mafia can't have a daykill" argument and killed Day 5 - read "immediately after the first Godfather died).

Two players are pretty much confirmed townie at this point - forbiddanlight and myself, who both killed while the original Godfather was alive. For the time being, I trust all other players not named Xtoxm who have made a kill.
