Just a little heads up for everyone, my main computer is on the verge of death (graphics card wants to burst into flames i think) so I may not be posting too frequently over the next week or so as the other computer here is mostly in use by someone else.

Now about the game: Not much to add right now, except I would like some kind of reasoning behind the FoS from IcemanE.

We can go ahead and make it easy on you since you are having computer problems and lynch you so you want be distracted by this game.

looks really terrible in posts 56 and 67. His rushing to point out that mafiassk's post defending iceman (62) could be scum protecting each other just seems too opportunistic. And way too obvious to be true. There's no way I can sanely read that passage and convince myself that mafiassk just came out and openly asked others not to vote for his scumpartner. I can, however, make a big deal of it if I'm just trying to make it look like it matters. Which is what I think Greasy is doing. It's possible mafiassk IS scum and defending a townie, but that doesn't strike me as all that likely either.

So exactly what is it about 56 and 67 that makes me "look really terrible"? I would call it scum hunting. Post 56 Zeek was pushing for a Cake Lynch which Zeek got a lot of votes for because it was scummy. Post 67 - TSPN called out iceman for good reason and MafiaSSKsounds like he's protecting him. I call it like I see it. I can't help that. Are you upset cause I called out your scum buddy?

Opportunistic applies to everyone. I'm not saying you take every opportunity but I'm saying Mafia is a game of opportunities and you either take them or not. Sometimes they are good opportunities and sometimes they are bad opportunities. I voted Lowell to illustrate to him that his vote on me was an opportunistic reasons which I didn't find valid.

Well I did a quick reread of the whole game. I don't have specific quotes to make much of an argument, but my highest suspects are:

1) Johoono
2) TDC
3) Nanosauromo/Sir Tornado
4) FaerieLord

With 12 players we probably only have 3 mafia members and possibly a 3rd party player as well but not very likely.

In general, a counter claim is more likely to be believed than the original claim, mainly because there is less motivation for a scum to counterclaim out of the blue than there is for them to try to fake claim to save their skin; the one for one trade just isnt worth it for them. Therefore scum are more likely to be the one fake claiming than the one counterclaiming.

Couple that with the fact that you were the most suspicious before you claimed, and they were not, I think it's pretty safe to say that any counter claim comes along and it will be you we're hanging.

With only one more person left to claim he could claim the same as me since I already said what I did. How are you to know if he is lying? Well technically the only way you will know is if he survives the NK and I don't. Other than that he can say what he wants and your at his mercy. You can't disprove him and he gets to survive another lynch (not saying celeb would be the lynch). You are putting too much faith in his words. If he claims doc and you lynch me then you are at a disadvantage going into the night and the next day. If you concentrate on mafia during the day they will most likely target me at night so as to not risk another successful protection.
