This had the intended effect, this being to leave Rikimaru sprawled upon the floor. it also had an unintended effect, this being that Riki's neck was snapped in two by its rather unusual collision course with the wall.

Gorckat wanders over and picks up a card dropped by the now very much true to his namesake Dead Rikimaru. The card reads;

'Veneto's of Valencia - the finest wine you'll ever see! £10 off you next purchase!'

"Ok, not so good..."

"On the other hand", noted Guardian, this card saying ' Identity Card of Syndicate - Mafia Godfather ' might be more of a clue...

Sobbing and weeping, the townspeople sing the time honoured songs of Valencia and bring out Guardian's faithful horse Bavieca. They set him upon it, and even in deth he rides the streets to bring hope to the townsfolk...

Also, you find Tarhalindur dead! No! His cops hat lying on the pavement, he has been shot twice in the back. Beside him lies the body of his friend Pra. He couldn't live on without his old friend, so he stabbed himself to death.

Tarhalindur (cop) and Pra (mason), the unpartable masons, have dieded muchlily. Mourn, people, mourn.

And mysteriously, there's an obstacle in the middle of the main road. It's very large, and made of rubber, and obviously used to be inflated.. And it squeaks when you poke it...

So that was the end of the Valencian mafia. Javert and neko shook hands, and went back to Javert's place for pizza.

I didn't tell the cop/mason of the sucicde pact, on the grounds that it was a formidable pairing anyway and it would help if they couldn't plan on their sole weakness.

On hindsight, that was a mistake, but it led to the most memorable criticism of my modding this game;

Also there was that whole screwy business with me not posting rules and nearly modkilling soupfly...

That was stupididty and incompetence on my part too, apologies to everyone who has been inconvenienced by my idiocy/stupididy/negligence this game, i.e. all of you guys.

As for the setup;
I ended up feeling that the setup was mostly quite reasonable, the mafia were handicapped by losing the GF early on, but the chances weren't big, and they pulled it back nicely.

The inventor was too complex a role really, but provided amusing moments, and managed to blow MBF up, drive the cop out of town in a home-made bus, turn neko into a miller (on n1, and nobody noticed), and finally end his own life when his rubber duck (a device which RBed any night actions from the player it was used on unless they were aimed at the inventor) was blown up by Javert neatly submachine gunning it, and thereby burying him under the weight of rubber (it was a BIG duckie).

The masons I would have told about the suicicde if I reran this setup.

Particular thanks to all my replacers, and neko who stuck with this game from start to end.

Particular apologies to Pra and Tar for the suicide, Soup for the modkill fiasco, and everyone for being a poretty poor mod in general.

I've got lots of quite neat setups ready, but I'm not sure I'm really decent enough at modding to go in and run another game...
