hmmm, well I'll tell you some things about my abilities since I'm already revealed role - my abilities are not standard vig. abilities, and it is becoming more apparent that it's likely no one really has a standard type of role/abilities

part of my abililty has come to pass already, so I will share that: I was D2 lynchproof - able to escape my death. Pretty fucking tied to my flavor I'd say. the rest of it makes sense in a way, obviously harry houdini wasn't a vigilante killer, and maybe saying I'm vig. at all is a poor way to represent myself.

I wrapped lycan in chains and pushed him off a dock into a lake, challenging him to escape. He didn't.

nothing in my PM suggests he was unhappy/unfulfilled necessarily, but, he died early from complications with his appendices and was leading a pretty good life and so, maybe he's unfulfilled in that capacity? but nothing makes a direct correlation between the 2

I really don't think so. The kill ability I used had no modifications to it. I even made a comment (humorously) in thread about maybe RC was so impressed by the flavor I submitted for the kill they forbade lycan from speaking in the thread (because he's still at the bottom of the lake!!!) - but that doesn't fit with the described ability at all and would be totally bastard imo if a mod decided to switch a mechanic like that. I just don't see it happening at all.

PLUS all of those questions have been asked in-thread about the kill and his ability to speak and all that
I would consider it mod lying at this point if my kill is responsible for him not speaking

the suggestion that has been made in-thread that I am most considering is that maybe my kill didn't kill him, or at least wasn't fully responsible for his death somehow, but I can't really figure out how that'd be

my figuring at this point is that a scum probably has a vanilla-ize ability and knew I was going to kill lycan or also killed lycan with it or somesuch. Maybe even intending to implicate me.

Which is why I feel so suspicious about The DEO and FA now, because I really feel like it's likely that was their plan and it didn't "take" as well as they hoped and they're just trying to push suspicion on me to get me lynched (also being scums fearing another killer out there, if they fear my reads / who I might shoot.)

what has been jumping out to me actually has been the pushing on vax lynch. I feel like he's town because of my recent experience with him in Ttyll. I can see what is being seen as suspect in him but that is how he was in Ttyll too, just poor views, trying too hard to see scum in people and making poor cases and coming off scummy for it.

JR gives me some weird pings on occasion but I like his contributions and definitely don't want to lynch him today.

Vax, I have a post in-game somewhere recently where I explain that read I think, but I'll try to go over it again.

I've played 1 game with him otherwise (I think? maybe there was another? shit...well the only memorable one!), and he was town there and I was scum and so I knew he was town and so through the whole game I was able to see his town game clearly. He made a lot of cases that look exactly the same sort of thing he's doing here. I don't know how to exactly articulate those qualities perfectly, a sort of mediocre ability where he tries a little hard to seem like he's making a good strong case, but it is really just a poor case based on a poor view of the game and it's getting scum-read because it's weak-ass pushes that seem like he's "trying to come up with something to paint that player scum" or somesuch. In Ttyll I could tell that if I were town I would have totally scum-read a lot of what he was pushing pretty hard, but now here with that perspective from there, I'm seeing the same thing here, I think, pretty sure, or at least I'm wanting to give it more time to grow the read on that, not comfy with the lynch today at all.
