lol I had to look up what a psychologist is, whether a player is capable of killing... do we think that might mean town has killing power then? in a 9p game...

judging by our roles, I want to say town might not have any regular VTs, I think everyone might have something, if that makes sense, cause of balance

My answer to this is that I think this is all something 1 role knows.
I think us knowing 2 roles off the bat while also being wolves is quite strong.

Tracker is probably a reasonable expectation. Something that detects motion. Watcher is on the strong end of this and that role is actually insane and should probably never be in micros

Protectives are generally more micro healthy than watcher on that spectrum.
Maybe something like a motion detector could be kind of cool here actually

I prefer not bussing lol, but if you think I'm scummy and want to push me, go for it! I just think it's easier to win faster with more scum alive

I absolutely agree but I feel like this mindset is inflexible. I don't normally vote wolves as a wolf.

I exceed at tactical busses and I can easily see you needed to bus me. I'm super rusty and I expect Datisi Klick and Ari to be able to read me decently well. Maybe Ari and Klick I can fool but Datisi will be a lot harder.

Okay I thought about these roles. I think the role is designed in a way where we have a lot of options of how we play it. Fruit Vendor and Messenger are functionally the same ability with different results
I think most townies are going to opt to use messenger shots. It's a lot more useful than the fruit vendor shots.
When you use your message you should attach a piece of fruit to it.

With all of these factors in mind, the Fruit Vendor is the more wolfy aspect of the role. Messenger just does the same thing but better. I would be a lot more suspect of players who claimed to use the fruit vendor shot over the messenger shot but I think this really depends on context.

If so then I think it actually is possible for everyone who has the role to just have that exact information.
Either way they're informed of SOMETHING. What they're informed off seems like it could be different based on slot but gun to head I want to say that "All players who can perform a misc action have the same role but not necessarily same alignment" is something that everyone who shares that role has.

I think this also makes sense as I think my slot is supposed to fakeclaim "All players who can perform a Miscellaneous action have the same role, but not necessarily the same alignment." for my information. Us knowing that makes for a pretty convenient fakeclaim

Okay ya in that case here is a play I think we can make.
Once the gamestate is a bit more developed, one of us should push for a massclaim of informed y/n
I don't think it would be a good idea to do this as of this post but I think once it's clearer what our way forward in this game is, we can try to do this when it's most opportune. As they say, seize the moment. I think we could easily sell the village in on it or at least sell the village that we thought it was a good idea. Little do they know they're helping us find the roles we want to kill.

Ideally we figure out what we're claiming by the time we decide to make a play. We probably should not crumb anything related to the JOAT (I haven't I assume you haven't either). Depending on the situation we'll probably either have the person pushing for said massclaim to claim the joat, and the other will either claim the joat or claim vt.

I'll list out what each of those scenarios look like and how we would probably want each scenario playing out.

I would expect 2 MINIMUM townies to share our role. 3 Is I think the most realistic number I would put in if I was the mod because then wolves can claim that they don't have joat abilities this way. 4 would be kind of wild.

I really want to say 3 JOATS to balance around massclaim. I think that's the amount that would instill the most amount of wine.
If only 2 inform claimed it then I think that makes those informed roles look better in late game situations. Idunno if only 2 people claimed to have said information, I would think that wolves are probably withholding information. I would say it seems too little but I wouldn't rule it out as impossible as 2 informed + 1 wolf informed makes F3. 3 just seems like the most natural number. I think if one of us gets in a position where they're claiming last, knowing how many informed claimed already can also influence what that slot claims. If we identify there is only 2 town claiming informed, and we're leading the massclaim, the person last to claim can say they're not informed and I think that's pretty safe. 3 I think is the golden number here.

ya looking at this I don't really like any of the setups with 4 informed. Seems weirdge. I'm pretty sure there is some math I could do behind it if I knew how to calculate EV. If I knew how to calculate EV I could probably actually just narrow this down

I think 5 informed 3 VT 1 Psychologist seems most realistic for a setup that was advertised as complex. I think this would give us the most wiggle room and has the least amount of flaws in it. I honestly want to say that 1 more PR would probably actually just be too much, and I would probably expect an additional PR if there are only 2 town informed.

Maybe I'm showing huge signs of hubris by reaching this conclusion but I feel like this just makes sense

If it looks like people suspect me, you should push for a massclaim. If this is likely what happens we'll both claim informed. I think the only way this goes wrong is you get my flip, and people look at my flip and think that this is some kind of plan I thought up because I feel like people could definitely think that I make up a plan like this. I think if we play it well we'll be able to sell to the village we're not aligned though.

I might also try to do this if I feel like it might help me shake some reads that people have on me. I would probably encourage you to try to continue to go for my elim if this we're committing to the tactical bus.

If you get asked why did you wait to suggest a massclaim, you can say that you asked the mod about your role and thought it would probably be best to wait until people have developed reads to bring it up.

If we're turning this play into a tactical bus then I think this would be the best way to do it. I think I can see many ways forward by turning this play into a tactical bus.

Additionally if we want to have 1 of us push for the massclaim and the other claim VT and then depending on the # of informed claimed as well as who we can decide what to do from there. I can see us doing a tactical bus here, I could also see us not bussing at all.

Both of us claiming the JOAT I think is best if we do plan on ending D1 with a wolf elim, claiming 1 JOAT and having the other hide it I think is a safe play that allows us to either play for the bus or play for a team win.

I could easily go shoot Klick and try to fight Aureal. I know she's lying. It's a whole lot easier and also probably more wolf!incentive for me to leave such a slot alive. They're on Gimli wagon, I had a sketchy vote on them.
