Yay, the walking dead 2!
Spoiler: My impressions
I'm a bit miffed controlling Clementine. For me a large part of the charm of season 1 was that you didn't know exactly what was on her head. I can see where they wanted to go. However, I think it would be nice to control a character with a clean slate - the three "obvious" decisions (that 95% over of the people picked) seems to me heavily defined over the image everyone has of Clementine. I do like that Clementine is turning into some sort of Badass, though.
That first scene was totally bullshit! Omid clearly tells you that you have to take care of all your stuff -- the water going under the toilet was obviously an opening for separating Clem from her gun. It would have felt more satisfying if we could have decided to keep the gun, and then the girl who comes after just overpower us to keep the storyline stable.
That said, I liked the rest of the story a lot. The dog and sneaking into the house moments were pretty tense. I knew that I could probably hear all the backstory going in the kitchen, but I just FELT that I had to get out of there as soon as possible.
Not being able to close the hole in the shed before the operation felt a little bulshitty.
I picked Pete. The snap decision was that, even though he is bitten, Nick was just not reliable - no way clementine would go with him. Also the whole "Lee thing happening over again!" seems like good drama. However, since he dies if you pick Nick, I'm pretty sure he will die early/somewhere in Episode 2.
Also, as for cutting it off, Yeah, it is stablished in the comics that it is possible (though not guaranteed) to save a bite victim by amputation. In the prison arc we had both things happen: A botched amputation that resulted in death and turning, and a proper amputation that saved the victim. Remember, everyone is infected, the bite just kills.

Hiraki: Act 2 will be added for free to people who bought the game before the end of the year - so the total length should be about 7-8 hours. You're still right, but just FYI

I have phrased it wrong: Act 2 will be added before the end of the year - it is part of the game which will be released later.
As for the amount of money spent, my guess is that a lot of it went for artists and voice actors (they have some known names as voice actors) - it is a well finished product.
This was a good bundle. I've been playing Electronic Super Joy and Bit.Trip Runner quite a bit(well I beat the first b.t a while back). Electronic Super Joy in particular I'm baffled on how I missed picking up this whole time.
My only wish is that Crypt of the Necrodancer was in it, but oh well.
What bundle are you guys talking about? The current one is a good one, but KickBeat is not in it...
I am tempted getting this bundle for GalCivII, but I already own more than half the games... Adventures of VanHelsing seems kinda neat

I liked the beginning of Thomas was Alone, but it did get quite boring/repetitive towards the middle-end. It was a bit of a chore to go all the way to the ending (although the last few levels were nice).

This website takes the list of "best game ever" candidates from gameFAQs, and re-order them based on your preferences. The game pool was fun (although I didn't play a majority of games listed). I wonder how the lists of other scummers might look like.
1 Minecraft
2 Chrono Trigger
3 Suikoden II
4 Starcraft
5 Baldur's Gate II
6 Final Fantasy IV
7 Zelda: A Link to the Past
8 Cave Story
9 Final Fantasy VI
10 The Walking Dead
11 Super Mario Bros. 3
12 GTA: San Andreas
13 Portal
14 Super Mario World
15 Undertale
16 Portal 2
17 Mega Man X
18 EarthBound
19 Warcraft III
20 Animal Crossing New Leaf
21 Final Fantasy Tactics
22 Final Fantasy IX

Yep, I am completely losing control of my life for this.
Shane's a pal, though
I'm gonna be honest and say I haven't really been paying attention to the bois in this game, except Linus. And sadly you can't date the mountain man. Abigail is my gurl~
Yeah, the boys are not super interesting, although I do like Shane, Linus (mountain man) and the dude who lives in the beach (forgot his name now). Abigail is cool, except that she eats flowers but hates vegetables (WTF!). I really like Maru's event chain.
