This was the first Split that I actually picked a team to back.


I picked Evil Geniuses because I really enjoy watching Krepo and Innox.

I am not a smart man.

My EG boys! They pulled some shit together and closed out the game very nicely. Krepo is still insanely good, and Altec is more than carving himself a home in that team (yellow who?)

There is always a safer buy. At full stacks there is literally no more gold efficient item, and so I would say there is no better buy. I know what you're saying: "In no other case than when you're destroying and certain that you would not die would you ever buy an item like that, which is

almost

never going to happen in the competitive scene." Eeeexcept, that's exactly where ALL were, and they knew they could close it out, making it the optimal buy.

The question is did ALL baron bait or otherwise extend the game in order to fully stack their items when they could have just pushed for the win, and I'm not sure that's what happened. Just from watching the game I didn't feel that was what drove Alliance, and I'm sure their voice comms backed that up (else Riot would've likely taken action).

Yes, it was an overly confident move, and yes it made CW look godawful. But you know what really made CW look bad to me? Youngbuck's twitter posting about it afterwards. Dude was hurt, and I totally understand just how much it must have rend his soul. But twitting, and aggressively so, is not the way to deal with it. Unlimited takes it like a cool guy. Full disclosure for my opinion: I was a CW fan before this. Now I'm taking a step back until I see how they act in the coming weeks.

However, I think the important thing out of it is realising that CW were hurt. And that ALL won fairly. And there's a lot of facts and conjecture around this, but in the end, those two are the big things. Alliance were better on the day, and IMO shouldn't be accused of taking advantage of their huge lead to be poor sports. And that these other guys who put everything they have into a very public expression of their expertise got destroyed. And that. Fucking. Hurts.

I haven't seen EG vs LMQ yet, just finishing EG vs COL. Altec/Krepo are my favourite bot lane. I really think picking up Altec changed EG and I'm EXCITED for Spring 2015

I wouldn't expect that kind of behaviour from anyone, but from the players...yeah it's understandable. They're kids and they act like it sometimes. They're personalities and they act like it sometimes. I get that. But from Regi, it's totally unacceptable and he sets a really bad precedent because he can't punish any of his staff for acting like that from now on.

Having the moral high ground is actually really important as a manager, because you can only hold your staff to that standard you hold yourself.

Also. That video Oman posted is EXACTLY why I'm a fucking C9 fan. That shit is so cool... Most stressful, important match of their careers and when they are en route to victory, they're laughing and being friends and giving a shoutout to a team they've bonded with over the tournament. That warms my heart. Compare that to Dyrus, who shouts, "GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY LANE BITCH".

C9 is just a class act, while TSM is trashy.

He's not SIMPLY for all AP comps (that's where he shines though). The problem is that he is countered by certain champs like Udyr and MORGANA. The black shield was the big problem.

Cause if Udyr has bear form selected the first Auto-attack on the taunt will break the entire ult. That means no taunt, no charged damage, and Galio is stunned.

The biggest counters for galio isn't spellshields (although...yes), it's on-hit effects like stuns, because his ult will cause him to take those hits almost straight away.

I believe quotas work and that giving "unfair" (though what you probably mean is "unequal") encouragement to a female is productive, but am not smart enough to formulate my thoughts outside of an internet picture



So fuck yeah I would cheer for a female pro, like nothing else.
