Hello! I'm still fairly new to the site, but I play a lot of boards games! I run a club where we just buy board games and play a lot. Been into Smash Up! and Carcassonne recently.
What are some good ones I probably haven't played yet? Some popular ones among this group?

Also played Guillotine, and everyone enjoyed it, so I'll definitely look to pick that up soon.
I was addicted to this game for a while. Probably seen more than half of the scenarios. My fav by far was the 'Saw' scenario.

I feel with Forbidden Island, you can pretty much play by yourself with 4 characters and have the exact same outcome as with 4 people playing, especially with it being much simpler than Pandemic. All in all, not a big fan of either, but a round of each once in a while is cool.
Picked up Arkham Horror today. Took 2 hours learning all of the rules. I can't wait to play!

I enjoyed Flash Point, Forbidden Island, and Arkham Horror immensely, enough that I bought a couple of them. I agree, Pandemic just doesn't stand up anymore. I got tired of it way too fast and Forbidden Island just feels like a much better time.
I've heard Eldrich Horror is a simpler, more player friendly version than Arkham Horror, I might look into trying it. I think Betrayal at the House on the Hill might be my favourite co-op (well mostly) game out there, just so much variety and fun each time you play.

We've played Dominion, we actually have a copy lying about! We kinda lost it though and we can't find it. It's a huge frikken box too.
Suburbia seems cool, definitely a possibility! Indigo seems cool, but I'd be skeptical to spend money on it, as it seems too similar to Tsuro maybe! I'd like that play that one somewhere else first.
p-edit: We have king of tokyo! That one is awesome. Haven't played for a while though.

It puts me in the same boat as BPC. We've got similar game interests (I've played and enjoyed all the ones he mentioned, plus like Robo Rally and some other stuff) but I'd be buying to play with my family. Are there any good
5+
player games that don't involve too much direct attack on each other? Playing Risk Legacy was a nightmare when my mum and sister wouldn't fight each other for anything, but that
could
be a result of the "everything is permanent" format. Since it's for the family, though, looking for anything from ten-minute to hours-long games.
Well first, fuck yeah robo rally. Second, 7 Wonders has worked for me in a bit of a larger crowd. I've found that it's less of a fuck people over game, but there can still be that element when someone constantly builds their damn army.

I played with the Bio-Terrorist once. I thought it was a fun addition actually, but we also stomped the person who was the bio-terrorist. I think I'd need to play it once or twice more to get a good feel for how it actually is.

suburbia & galaxy trucker are both great for 2-4 too, galaxy trucker you need to be okay with everyone getting blown up and comically limping to the finish sometimes though.
oh actually you probably want it in-browser more than them 2-4 players given phrasing
uhhhh dominion's online and I think is a little dated when I think Trains is basically the same game but with the board making the competitive element better imo (but dominion is still a pretty solid game)
I'll never say no to more board game suggestions! I actually have a copy of Suburbia and it's kinda awesome. I just moved to a new city a bit back, so getting a new board game crew has been slightly difficult, and I haven't gotten to play it much. But when I did, we'd play it like all damn day.
I've only heard great things about Galaxy Trucker and I was considering picking up a copy but it was kinda stupidly expensive at the only store in town that had it. I have not heard of Sheriff of Nottingham! From the BGG description I really want to play it now :/ Thanks :p
We've been playing a lot of Dominion online lately on the official site, ended up getting all the expansions for about 40 bucks I think. I thought it was kind of a rip off but really it gets enough use that I'm pretty happy with it. It's actually a really decent interface too.
I'll have to check out Trains tonight!

I'm still super new to BSG, so I might be slow my first time! Go easy, everyone D:
I have no idea if Sunday works for me, I might be working, but I might not. Depends on how much of a keener I wanna be that day
I wouldn't mind spectating when you guys start though, which I should be able to do either way, so is someone could shoot me a message when you all are starting, that would be awesome!
