Farthest I have gotten is the Ursa round.

So far I have had the most success with SF, necromastery builds up so quickly with so many creeps and he has good aoe as well.

Best combo I've seen is Sven/Axe/Omni/WR/Drow (Last two are changeable)

Sven wrecks waves, Axe gives Sven lifesteal which helps him not die, Omni's ult is OP and his repel stops those stupid gyro rockets, then you need the ranged DPS for various things through.

I'm not even good. that's what's so stupid. I should never lead a team or a whole game and yet I do regularly. And yet I am also coming to terms with the fact that my W/L ratio will end up being closer to 40% than 50.

Drums is nice for early damage and stats, but you can skip it if you really want. It'll also make you speedy fucking gonzales.

So use the helm on a ranged jungle creep and send him over towards your ancients. At every XX:51 - XX:53 mark, attack the ancients and run. The game will detect that there are no creeps in the area (because you've pulled them away) and will create a new set on ancient creeps. Then, you go over later and kill the ancients with your bouncing glaives.

Wraith King is surprisingly fun and strong with the new ult change but is there a reason to ever max his Q?

I mean it's still a 300 damageish nuke every 8 seconds at max level as opposed to a 80 damageish one at level 1. I max it first most of the time to try to help burst people down when we go on them in lane.

My success with Wraith King is not "great" by any means so feel free to take what I say with a grain of salt. (I think thats the right expression)

I like Phase better than Treads because I find that most heroes are a hell of a lot faster than Wraith King and he gets kited. I've never really thought to go Treads/Drums, and I guess that would work, but Wraith King really needs that Armlet because assuming he's having a normal game, he will be doing shit for damage until he gets it. I normally go like Phase > Soul Ring > Armlet > BKB > AC/Heart.

What do I have to do if i just want to watch it online? What do I do? and what is this compendium thing?

Keep in mind things will be different, but also thoroughly explained by valve.

If you want to watch it online you have a couple options:
A. TI is always free in Dota to watch. Just go to the tournament tab, find TI, and you can watch the games, no ticket purchase needed.
B. They have a Twitch option
C. And they had a mirror if Twitch didn't work(which was amazing cause twitch got blocked by the internet I was using during my show during TI3)

The compendium was a 10 dollar purchase with tons of stuff in it. $2.50 of that purchase went to the overall prize pool (increasing the amount all the winners get). There were compendium goals, where if a certain amount of compendium was sold a new goal would be reached and all compendium owners got a prize.

It was well worth 10 dollars.

I don't think it's "superior." Just different. Dota is definitely more complex, but if we're getting on which is "superior" you'd have to be more specific in what regard.

Because obviously if it's the learning curve, League is far superior

(I mean, my opinion is always I'd play Dota over League, but that's because I know Dota's meta game and I've learned its complexities so that playing League where I have to grind just to play most of the heroes feels like a chore and a step back.)

Well it depends which teams you think they're capable of beating. I see them being in the 13-16 regardless, mayyyyyybe 9-12 if they manage to play really well in the LB BO1.

Don't start with meepo/invoker/chen.

In this game you can control multiple units and many heroes depend on it. Chen has a spell that allows him to control neutral creeps (who all have their own individual powers he can use). Lone druid has a bear that can use items. Meepo literally has three clones of himself (four if you get a certain item).

If you plan on tackling any of these heroes any time soon, use control groups.

Of course, most of the heroes this doesn't really apply to so you probably don't have to worry about it.

Also if you ever wanted to look at another hero's items or something.

Dota 2 does that too when selecting enemies, but if you select your own units it overrides selection of your character.
