BTW: You can have unlimited sight wards at the moment. They borked the limit on that, so LEGAL MAP HACK POWARS.

@Old topics
I disagree that Clinks is the strongest hero in the game. He's a Glass Cannon in the sense a good few nukes will obliterate his poor hp (even with death pact buff). He shines late game since he can auto-backdoor by himself with enough farm/damage. But in those cases some sight and a good stun will obliterate Clinks. TPs required since he solo towers.

(I.e MKB Clinks eats all your towers uphill with no missing :p)

True. Though all you need is a Force Staff for Ursa. Lycan is easier as a pub stomper in my opinion. BKB, steam roll everyone.

Force Staff for fighting Ursa. Not On Ursa. (Ie to counter his pop stomp rape tactics. Or Ghost it. I play lots of support).

Edit: Ursa/Lycan easy Rosh = always check and ward it. Even if you need to invest in smoke but that's the other counter.

Technically you could Rosh at level 1 with SK or Wisp but most people would check anyways.

Darox assuming you always get Catmen/Centaurs every round. Clinks starts with 400 base health, at 16 has only 900. Getting 550 on top of ~500-600 hp (so 1khp) isn't amazing by any standards. His counter is sights. You require good reactions, and he can be nuked down easily before he farms Orchid for assassination. In team fights he needs to sit in the back to DPS people down.

He has amazing escape, but he's still a glass cannon. If he's caught off guard, he's pretty much dead.

I killed many Clinks simply by carrying dust. Like with Lina. Or Lion.

Edit: Hardest Carry I would consider would be Void, or OD. Void has a guaranteed kill with farm and ulti. OD can clear entire teams with farm. Both can be countered easily with character picks (and with void specifically positioning yourself outside his ulti and disabling him while it's occurring)

OD will banish himself to wear out BKB. Morphling is very powerful since he has insane DPS, good nukes/escapes, and true morphlings switch stats on the fly to escape while being tanky or agi DPS to death. Problem is that I've been jade by too many people maxing Agi with morph but dying with 800 hp because they wave in and auto die despite huge damage output.

Edit: Furion is powerful for his global presence (but we now have Disruptor who counters Furions). He's annoying, but true skill level shows how he shines since good ones are everywhere rather then just playing the farming game. Plus keeping all the lanes pushed is annoying since it splits the opposing team split to defend or even nabbing a free tower/raxs when they aren't paying attention.

True. It depends on team composition and how farmed OD is. His ulti is brutal though since very few heroes get good int growths. OD can still clear entire teams with it and his huge damage orb damage without any magic immunity.

Edit: We can go on and on, but this is why I like DOTA. Hero counters and item counters to heroes galore :F

PL seems nerfed for some reason. He felt scarier in Dota 1 for carry potential. But now I feel like he's missing some damage output.

Pretty sure it's more like 40 secs- 1 Minute at level 7. D00d.

Lancer is weak to big AoEs. I found that Midnight Pulse from Enigma did lots of damage in a recent game. Plus my friend as Dark Seer soloed a PL with Shell/Wall/Vaccum to take care of illusions. Even with Mana burn :V.

Furion, ehhhhhhhhhhhhhh kinda hard. Need a way to get through trees. BM is a good one since axes/roar for escaping ones.

Comments:
1. Generally you don't want to focus the tank down first in team fights (GO FOR THE SQUISHIES DISABLES BEFORE THEY GET THEM OFF, OR DPSES AGIS). So I agree with Centaur-cylone tierness.
2. Problem with Centaur is that you want to get lifesteal to negate his return damage, AND have some way to chip at his health fast (so reduce his armor) to counter his beefiness.
3. Games currently shouldn't let him farm so much monies to solo teams (if so you needed to end the game earlier). Also taking farm away from harder carries isn't a good thing for the Centaur team either since he shines with a blink dagger/imitate combo early/mid game on. Which means you can push hard after, rather then sit there and farm for all the hearts.
