Oh snap. I'd play with you, but I'm on my tablet at school and cockatrice isn't downloaded on this yet, so I wouldn't have any decks constructed in it. :X

I could bike home and play in ~45? I'd still probably need some help with rules and such so I'd probably want to communicate over skype, but I have been playing on cockatrice with Pie a little so I at least know my green/white deck okay by now, and I have a green/black one in there too. (Also, Pillow Fort, because Pie played it against me once and it was lulz.)

Sooooo Pie and I have been playing around with various decks via Cockatrice, and I think I've finally found a deck that I really enjoy (and that doesn't seem to almost always get its ass kicked). But I'm wondering if anyone has any advice for cards to make it better? I really like what it does, but I feel like there are probably weaknesses that I'm too noob to realize are there that someone else might notice.

But I like my guttersnipes, they're what make the deck fun ;_;

and they seem to work pretty well in the deck (although granted I've only played it against two different decks so far)

I've seen lingering souls in a deck before and it is pretty damn awesome, but I'm not anywhere near confident enough in my ability to deckbuild to splash black and think it'd be any good (basically all the decks I have created so far are alterations of a readymade deck I found online, and the one time I tried to splash a third color it didn't work so well for me). I want to stick with two colors max at a time for a while. Entreat the Angels probably is really weird for it, yeah; I don't think I've even gotten a chance to play the card yet and I wouldn't mind subbing it out for something, just... idk what because I feel like I need something with flying/reach to deal with that kind of creature and I'm still very limited in what cards I know anything about soo I can't just go "oh yeah, there's a white card I know of that does x y and z thing, let me put that in" because I'm probably only familiar with, oh, 100-200 cards or so of the ~1000 that are standard, so far.

I'll have to look up Sudo's cards that he was talking about before I can formulate a response to that, aaaaaah.

eh, I'm not really attached to the "make dudes" part, to be fair. It seems to work okay (so far), but I mostly just like that they're mostly sorcery cards that make guttersnipe go BAM TO THE FACE MOTHERFUCKER. If I can keep the guttersnipes I'd be cool with putting something else in instead.

The original deck had 2x Worldfire in it so I'm pretty sure the guy who made it was more concerned with making an occasionally hilarious deck than an effective one...

that + doublestrike + something that gives it trample (rancor?). woaaaaaah.

on that note I'm preeetty sure at this point that I want to play naya (or as I've been calling it, mexico <.<). I reaaaaaaaaally like boros but there are a lot of green cards I like too and I feel like if I could find a good RW deck that splashed green... :3

I still need to try RG, though.

yeah, cockatrice getting shut down pretty much confirmed for me that I'm never going to play with cards that aren't just Pie's extras because I'm never going to be into the game enough to buy cards without testing them out first... the one possible exception being if I'm buying a starter deck of certain colors I want to play or something like that. The randomness of packs doesn't appeal to me at all.

It's also one less thing we can do while long distance now. :C
