I'm getting back into it. Mostly Limited, though I do have 4 Snapcasters, which aren't worth but 5 tix online.

Bonfire of the Damned isn't going to be very high impact in the new Standard, as midrange and efficiently costed rumps are going to rule the format. And the other aggro deck, Zombies, couldn't care less about a Bonfire. I think you're fine without another. Its purpose in your deck is a fireball effect, which I don't think would be that great considering you'll be looking to run not so many lands in a RDW style build.

I'm going to be playing Geist of Saint Traft and Restoration Angel, but don't know what else. Those two are going to be a complete beating.

A 1-of Thunderous Wrath might not be so bad. 1 mana for 5 damage sounds pretty spicy.

I was mainly advising you against dropping money on a card that is likely NOT to retain too much value.

I'm not sold quite yet, something is telling me it could be the BW Tokens of rotation.

Although it will play a top 5 creature in Messenger.

Reck, just imo you'll want 26 or 27 lands. And you're kind of a split between tapout and instant control, so I'm not sure what the right balance is here. To me it feels like you're better off without the Sylvan Caryatid, and having your lands open for T2-T3 to protect your T4 planeswalker.

Or if you go the other route and are more relying on the T4 verdict, you've already mentioned how the Caryatids play with that. I'm not sure there's much you'd need to verdict T3 (maybe on the draw) that you can't verdict T4. And even then you've got Detention Sphere for backup on T3.

My opinions:

I agree with this, but was trying to work with putting Kiora in 'cause he wanted Kiora in it looked like.

You don't ban something because it is rare or expensive. Wizards assumes competitive players have the entire card pool to play with.
