Venge kills > lynches because venge kills are guaranteed made by town, while lynches are at least part scum directed.

I've played 2 multi-ball games before, one as scum and one as town. The key is to limit information flow.

Ok, ignore what I said about limiting information flow. That's only the case when the mafias have control over a NK.

I completely disagree that the mafias will try to kill the town first.

In this set up for mafia Red, the town and Mafia Blue are identical, except for the fact that town has a vengekill and mafia doesn't. So, the mafia will try to hunt each other, both because it's less risky and for towncred. However, mafia needs to stay alive mor than it needs to kill people.

The optimal strategy for town... Is to hunt scum. I have no idea how, because ever you want to use the votes the exact same way -- kill the other guys, stay alive. Townies should care less about dying, because we have the vengekill.

To add to the above, all Bullish has done all game is post about strategy, which I don't like. Apart from one post where he says two people are scum with no reasoning.

I'm posting strategy because this game is different from the normal games. Wagons aren't readable, mislynches don't punish town as much, and there are just so many scum..

My scum reads were on Dr Pants and Expresso. Because Dr Pants scum read Expresso, and scum scum reads people. It's more Expresso than Dr Pants.

I'm busy these few days, but I'll still be able to read all the posts and engage to a substancial degree.

Quick theory question. Since lynching the godfather eliminates the goon, and town will eventually have to lynch the godfather (who brings the goon down with him), I would say goon reads shouldn't be lynched.
It seems like that would just be a fools errand.

It's as much a strategy as a meta. People forget about inactive players all the time. I can play against my meta.

I feel it's a pointless idea. Dividing players into groups by vote isn't that different from just arbitrarily dividing players into a group of 5 and a group of 3. Just shooting randomly is going to give a 50% of hitting scum.

If I had to choose between who the other townie is (out of NJ and Milk), I'd say Naked Jogger.

We can't lynch another townie, and we can't lynch the red godfather.
