Okay, I had thought that votes could be changed until all lynches were locked down. But people started saying that one of the groups already had a lynch, so I thought that my understanding was wrong.

Anyway. Dr Pants is scum.
I presently have townreads on both espresso and salamence. But I don't have a strong scumread on anyone in Grape. so I'm definitely not 100% comfortable with that.

Basically, my perspective is this.
If I end up very strongly scumreading one player in each of the other groups, then I have no reason to not think my group is the all town group.
If I don't, then I do.
If I end up strongly scumreading two players from one group...then i need to start from scratch.

Pedit: it does seem we are allowed to NL? If it looks like the wisest choice I'd be for it. And for once it might actually

be

an okay choice.

Nazarene and Not Mafia are town, so snscompt1 is maybe scum / maybe town.
Salamence is town
Espresso I see as maybe town, maybe scum, but either way the ideal lynch candidate for my group.

Xay please vote for Pants instead of Maruchan. Like Nazarene said, everything Pants has done has been far too deliberate. And he's been subtly buddying up to you now, perhaps because he sees you're one of the few people townreading him.

I'm ready to hammer but I would like to see the Huckleberry group lynch change.

Scum can't lead because they are scum, not town - they might attempt to lead but it is actually manipulation. Sala is coming off as earnestly leading. Pants is coming off as attempting to lead but is actually scum manipulating.

Scum motivation.

Forced towniness is not scum motivation.

Dr Pants hasn't done anything that even looks like forced towniness. It's not that he's trying to act more town to avoid being mislynched - it's that he's trying to LOOK like he's acting pro-town when he isn't.

Dr Pants' proposal on page 17 is ridiculous. I'd be okay with trading lynching myself in exchange for Pants - but lynching obvtown/better player than me Naz in exchange would be pretty foolish. And why should we let scum dictate lynches?

Why is everyone townreading Pants for something that is so obviously engineered to create the townread? Seriously?!? He knew it would never actually happen...Come on folks.

Of course the plan makes no sense for scum. But the town would also NEVER do it. Because regardless of who you think is town, you mut have a town read on at least one of those players. And unless you believed that player was in the all-town group, making that lynch deal is foolish. Plus, Pants was initially saying he would self vote as the hammer - knowing that Xay would never vote him and hoping that his unvoting of Maru combined with his "plan" would make him look town This was an act of a player who was desperate to look town. I don't believe for a second Pants actually wanted to go through with his plan.

Okay. I am not self voting, simple enough. Everyone has Pants squarely in the town corner now so nobody wants to lynch him. If others want to trade me for him then I am OK with that - I am not a good player so losing me is not a major loss. I don't wanna let scum dictate the lynch though.

So okay the difference between Pants behavior and actual town behavior is that actual town gambits result in authentic reads. Pants tossed his reads out the window immediately after each of the player's following posts - so he got
no information from his "gambit." And now his plan just solidifies his fakeness to me.

Anyway. Dr Pants needs to die.
