The first time I ever played it, we started off with "The band plays music" and ended with "It rains on a unicorn under a rainbow while two men dance in piles of poo."

I took the lazy way out with my drawing, and can already see how it can be misinterpreted. Nevertheless, /sent drawing

I just am shocked how nonsensical these sentances are. I always find this game more fun when it starts with something simple and then gets continually messed up

Well, simple sentences yield badly drawn pictures which yield nonsensical sentences.
But yeah, if you start off with a dumb/random sentence right away then...

Mine have all made kinda sense so far. I feel bad for drawing boring pictures.

I'm sorry for hearing that. All the sentences I've received so far were on the "rather odd" side.

Im glad about hearing that. People do not realize that this game is better when it starts with simple, but can be misinterpreted things as opposed to "oh I will send in the most insane thing I can possibly think of".

Such a QFT. This needs to be a rule or something. In round 1, I got a totally stupid sentence, and it just sucks the fun out of the game. It's not funny when a goofy sentence stays goofy, or turns into a simple one.
