Here are the rules:
Q: How many players?
A: Any odd amount will do.
Q: How do we play?
A: Each round, each player has 3 "voting points". He may give those points to other players, by posting give 1 point to <name>. You can't give points to yourself, and you can't sit on your points. You MUST give them to someone else within an alloted time-limit, or you're warned, and then modkilled. Once all points have been distributed, the player with the most points becomes the Executioner. He chooses to eliminate someone from the game, by posting execute <name>. Then, a new round will begin, with 1 less player.
Q: What is the proper way to give points?
A: Post in Bold, like this. I give __ points to ________.
Q: What's the length of a round?
A: The point-giving stage lasts a maximum of 10 days. (After that stage, if you have any points left, you're warned. Three days after you're warned, you will be modkilled). The execution deliberations last a maximum of 5 days (if the Executioner takes longer than that to decide, he's warned. Three days after he's warned, he will be modkilled).
Q: What happens when there are only 2 players left? How can an Executioner be chosen?
A: The players previously eliminated from the game become the jury. They vote for the winner.
Q: What happens at the end of the round, if two players are tied for points?
A: The other players in the game hold a vote to make one of the two an Executioner.
Q: What if this vote is tied too?
A: The player most recently executed casts the deciding vote.
Q: What if more than two players are tied for points?
A: The round will continue until one of those players decides to give a point to another player (thus making him the Executioner).
Q: So, basically it's a game of politics?
A: Well, duh.
You may not take back your points after you have given them. You may take back a vote after you have given it.

According to the player who I learned this game from, you cannot take back your points. That was also the assumption that we made here in the first EtE at MS.

We did have a alliance, penguin. We had a formal alliance for EtE2 AND EtE3.
Anyway, the 3 points is so that we DON'T have to use the on the same person. You notice that the person in the lead always spreads out his/her points. Spreading out points is a useful strategy. And I am unhappy that you are going to steal the creation of the EtE series from me.
