we can't? I was under the impression that you were just trading the knowledge. So if I really wanted I could trade it to everyone. That's how trading knowledge in the last one worked except there was the slight chance you lied.

Each player will start with the knowledge of 2 rules. You can trade your rules with each other to get more knowledge of the values of cards.

and

We are trading the knowledge of the Rules. If person A knows rules 1 and 2 and then trades for rules 3 and 4, they then know rules 1,2,3, and 4.
