If this is a true story then I'd welcome playing with new players, I just hope they learn a lil' how to play on this site.
Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

but I'm not really a "jerk" although most new players think I am. Once most players have played with me then they are ok, but I guess its nice having a reputation as an asshole.

4 week deadlines are way to long. I think even 2 weeks is too long. For day 1 ok...but past that seems a waste. I'd like to see one week deadlines.
