Could you guys identify yourself on air? Saying something like "Hi, this is Reckoner talking" so I can map the voices to people? First time listener and I missed the beginning, so I have no idea who the people talking on air actually are.

The main appeal of this would be hearing the mafia plotting in real time, during the night.

Obviously, it depends a lot on the players/the mod, especially as extra honesty is required.

I think combining the two large queues isn't a bad idea at all... certainly worth considering, IMO.

I think it would be a bad idea. LN games would clog the merged queue, leading to a bunch of people just waiting for the next LT to start while the LN takes forever.

Restriction on one large normal allowed in queues at a time? With an additional "If no new sign-ups are made after a week (and/or the game is less than half full after a week or two) then the game is sent to the back of the queue" ruling, it could work. Though might be unfair on some mods, it's the best option I can think of right now.

So you essentially want to have one LN and one LT in sign-ups at every time? That's what the current queue system already accomplishes.

Something that you guys aren't discussing: Softclaims. Why claim cop or mason when you can say "I'm almost certain X is town due to my role"?

Meta isn't bullshit.

It's just often used wrongly, like TSQ described: "You did X in game Y where you were alignment Z, you did X here, so you're alignment Z." That's not constructive in most of the cases.

On the other hand, you can read some players easily with meta because they (almost) always behave the same as town, and (almost) always behave the same as scum. If you have ten games as town where you posted five times a day, and three games as scum where you posted only to not get prodded, I'll lynch your ass if you don't post.

Try playing in the Open queue. You can't find a game without a troll or an VI (or several), except for the one game Tierce mods where she screened /ins.
