Hi there, I understand that it was promised I would discuss food with you all, so, here I am.
I don't feel any particular need to be "in charge" of the food, but I never do, and somehow I always seem to end up being in charge of the food anyway. the only particular thing(s) I have in mind so far are various fruit and cheese platters, and veggie platters. you know, snacks with sustenance. my own dietary restrictions are that I do not eat farm raised mammals, but I am of course willing to prepare them for others.

and hitchhiking is the definitive factor that makes a person "cool" btw

I have secured that sat. off work, so I will be getting home roughly 3pm on Friday, and don’t need to go back to work until 6am Tues.

We surely have pleanty of room for crashing on the floor, one couch, and a guest suite for the weekend. (maybe the guest suite has an assigned parking spot or two...)

I've been chatting with my chef about the meet, and he says he can get me a case of ground sirloin burgers for a very good price. I've also been kinda checking out the local cash and carry for good menu ideas. I found cases of veggie egg rolls for a good price. of course I am still planning my signature cheese platters and fruit platters. if anyone arrives in time to accompany me on a bulk food shopping mission on Friday, (store closes at 7) I would love the company, any more request/ideas? let me know. got a favorite food?...

@al_kohaulec: Can you still bring those grills, I don't know that I will have access to any others.

Any shape is fine! A crumb coat would be nice... though last time it was too hard and didn't cut well, I'm not sure what needs to be done to prevent that from happening.
