Vacation/ Limited Access

I will repost this here, since it did not move from the old site:

I am currently out of town (at GenCon in Indianapolis) and will not be home until next Tuesday. As such, I will have sporadic Net access until then. I anticipate being able to check every day or two, but no more often than that without divine intervention of some sort.

I have to leave town on an emergency road-trip this evening and will not be home until Thursday afternoon at the earliest. I may have sporadic Net access between now and then, but the odds are extremely high that I won't even see a computer until sometime Wednesday (I'm going into the back hills of Kentucky... it's a loooooong story).

ATTENTION!

My internet access has been temporarily interrupted (

major

technical issues with my home computer), which has prevented me from logging on... I apologize for my absence, and hopefully I will be able to get everything worked out before the end of the week, including being able to resume my games in progress, etc.

If you are a player in one of my games:

I should have my computer repaired (and therefore access to my game setups) and have everything running again by the end of the week (I am logging on from a laptop at the moment). Your patience is appreciated, and I'm sorry for the terrible inconvenience.

If I am a player in one of your games:

I cannot promise to be able to post reliably until this coming weekend. If you feel you need to replace me in your game as a result, I completely understand and offer my apologies for the lack of notice. I ask only that you PM me and let me know whether or not you're planning on replacing me so that, when I get back online this weekend, I can adjust accordingly and know what threads to post to so as to minimize my inactivity in the games I'm still in.

Again, I am very sorry for the inconvenience... hopefully within a few days this'll all be worked out. I'll talk to you all very soon.

Hello, all.

Another quick update: my computer is officially FUBAR. I am attempting to recover my Mafia files, but so far have had zero luck. I hope soon to rejoin you all here, and I once again apologize for my inability to fulfull my modding and playing duties and responsibilities. I hope you can all forgive me, or at least try not to hate me too much.

I currently have a loaner computer that I can use to logon, but until I get my 'puter situation figured out (which I will have absolutely no time to do this weekend), I will be online intermittently at best. Therefore, please replace me in all games I'm in (if you haven't done so already)... hopefully I'll be back soon.

I miss you all... again, I'm sorry.

sorry it worked out like this... everything was going along so well, and then all hell has once again broken loose around here. Therefore, if you haven't already, you probably better replace me in my Mafia games... I can probably keep up with the Discussion games, although I might have to bow out of the Inklings game as well. I'm really sorry, folks... this is, unfortunately, unavoidable. That's what I get for trying to jump back into games like that, I guess.

I will continue to check the boards as often as possible... thanks for your understanding. I'll let you all know if/when I'm ever able to logon with any regularity. Until then, however... *sigh*

Probably won't be checking the boards from now until sometime Monday. Easter and whatnot... not to mention putting the finishing touches on the gaming convention I'm helping run in two weeks (http://www.gaminghoopla.com, if you're interested), planning my wedding, and getting ready for surgery next week. Bleh.
