Rats - mixed theme still hasn't started and I'll be gone for the weekend. And it's an endless night in 13. And I don't expect to miss much in famous lady maf.

I'll be home for the holiday, but I have many relatives coming to town, so don't expect to see me much in the games I'm in.

I will be at Boy Scout camp from 12/26 through 12/31. No access then, and limited access 12/24 to 1/5.

I will be teaching (counseling) the dentistry merit badge, if anyone is interested. Of course, getting boys to sign up for that one is like pulling teeth.

Cam- I missed that story. I would have been listed as a late leader, but I usually try to stand clear when teenagers are messing with gunpowder.

I will be away from Sunday the 11th through the following Saturday. I will be at Boy Scout Camp (as a leader, not a scout). No access at all. I am in Fantasy Mafia and Marvel Superheroes. Not much happening in either right now, so I probably won;t miss much...

I know I just returned from boy scout camp last week, but I will be gone all next week (Saturday - Sunday). I'll be backpacking in Wyoming, so access will be difficult.

I'm sick at home right now, having caught something from the child day care center again. I'll probably not post today, but hope to be back in full shape tomorrow.

I have had something come up that has kept me busier than I expected to be.

Bah! I have to leave town until Monday the 25th and probably will not have any access in that period.

Here I am, back from several days out of town on business, and I have to report tomorrow at 8:00 am for jury duty. I could have a half day, a full day, or an entire week away. I hope it's not a week, because my employer gives a day to report for jury duty, but I must use PTO (paid time off) after that.

There is a strong category 5 hurricane heading my way. It currently has sustained winds of 175 mph. Coastal areas have been evacuated. I live 40 miles inland, where winds are expected to be over 100 mph. I am leaving town. I probably won't be back online for a while.

We're okay. It passed well to the east. We got high winds and not much rain. Had to clean up pine needles and some small limbs from yard. The pool had a blanket of needles covering. Leaves that got into the pool mostly sank.

We lost power about twenty times overnight. Each was for less than a minute. The only reason we knew it went in and out was that the alarm would beep three times to indicate power loss and the answering machine would beep more softly to indicate power up.

There's no gas to be had, though I understand a convoy of over 100 tank trucks just entered the area to start restocking stations. My car is nearly empty. School is out until Wednesday. No stores or restaurants were open today. Our local grocery store reopens tomorrow. My wife will reopen her store, a bead shop, tomorrow.

My wife and I enjoyed a pitcher of Marga-Ritas last night before it hit.

Oh, and the DSL line has been out much of today.
