This was a relatively fun marathon game to run. It went a lot smoother then my first marathon game over at the Don't Panic forum and I felt a lot more controlled about my game. I felt that the twenty minute day/ten minutes Night deadline gave people enough time to find scums and send in Night Actions, as I understand that people have lives, yet I don't want the game to stagnate more then necessary.
The scum teams did really well overall. They were cool, focused, and acted town throughout the entire game. I believed that had SocioPath not hammered KittyMo, they would have a decent chance of achieving a perfect win, as gandalf5166 was also pro-town, despite the bandwagon on him Day 1.
However, I do feel that scums should have killed KittyMo instead of Jahudo Night 1. This would have prevented town from being able to have 2/7 of hitting scums instead of 1/7 and it would have help sealed a scum victory then.
danakillsu's play was also pretty decent. It's a shame that he had to replace out (I'll thank gandalf5166 for taking care of the problem, although I won't be relying on kills to get rid of a player that can't play/is flaking out of the game), but I think he could have help increased the chance of a town win. The only thing I frowned apon his play was the fact that he did not send in a Night Action Night 1 before replacing out.
Town did good as well. Sure they got off to a bad start, but they at least cooperated. No Lynch Day 3 was a good decision as it made for a pretty close Mylo situation the next day.
Parama IMO really should have done his best to play the game and prehaps he wouldn't have been lynched Day 1, although millar's claim aren't always convincing, so I understand why he would have been lynched Day 1 anyway.
Aldusskel did an excellent job of staying towny while remaining alive. I feel that had he investigated gandalf5166 instead of bird1111, he would have won this for the town, but he would be valueable to the town regardless as long as he managed to survive to Lylo.
The reason why I added those names in is because I'm planning on making a series of at least three games in the Mafiascum People series, which will consist of a group of randomly choosen game, the people on it, and adding the mod to it as well. This set-up was based around the players in Mini 955 which I feel had some pretty good players in it (I replaced into it Day 1, did horribly and got lynched on the same Day. I was a cop (Ouch).). Some ideas for future Marathon games include players from The Kingdom of Loathing Mafia and Mafia 114: Mafia Vs. Werewolves, althought there's no guarateen that I'll run them, plus that when modding Marathon games, I'd like to run different varieties as well.
This game, as said before in the Sign-Up sheet, was made in the matters of a few minutes. Basically, I just wanted to mod a game and help sharpen up my modding skill for my upcoming Mini Normal game so I don't totally fail at modding that Mini Normal.
Do you have any suggestions on improvements on me modding Mafia games? I'm all ears to it.
Thank you all and I really do hope that you enjoyed this game.
