@cerb: It seemed rehearsed, there was an exchange of a few words that seem pretty inconsequential and BOOM from zero to hero... well not that dramatic, but you had TAM as scum to prob town in a matter of a few posts of little value.

I'm also a little disappointed that anyone would think I was so transparent as any alignment.

Why should "strong" players be immune to wagons? Are they not just as likely to be scum as the rest of us?

Yep, which is why, in the absence of strong evidence against them, it's better to lynch the chaff, as it were. The ones who will be useless as long as they live, and who will be easy late game mislynches. Better to force scum to shoot the threats at this stage, rather than lynching them ourselves.

Cool, so it is because of me not bothering to read this game. ABR, you also get to be town, so that's pretty sweet. I know you'll call it buddying, etc, but whatever, it'll make things easier for me to figure out going forward. Do you plan on tunneling me/having the time to actually try to get me lynched over other people anytime soon? You're basically the only person here who I'd expect to be capable of successfully pushing a lynch on me(Nacho would be fhe other person, but he's not townread enough). Mainly asking so I know if I should attempt to preempt the tvt shitstorm, or if I'll be able to continue chilling.

SC is right that this wagon composition won't be very helpful for figuring anything out later on though. We'll need flips on TAM and Skrub for everything to come together, and we probably won't get any of that for a long time.

Honestly Cakez is probably town. This feels like his scumplay, but his scumplay isn't normally this good.

Random stop vanity wagoning skrub. I'D be happy with a quick switch to skrub, but it seems unlikely with this particular set of players. Ideally you'll vote Nos, but either way we need this situation resolved. I believe nos is at 11 and tam Is at 12, but I may be off by one vote or so.

Actually, from the general thread opinions about many of the scum slots (and ESPECIALLY if the nosferatu lynch went through) both scum teams would have been down to just a couple slots that weren't near the top of the active players scum lists. That, combined with the fact that whenever Drixx decided to play kraska would have been outed AND the cross kill on a vengeful slot....well, things would have been more likely to end in a town rout imo, with a decent chance of a very long game ending in 3p/5p lylo.

Anyways, love you frozen, I'm sad that I don't get to see the full setup but I understand why you want to handle things this way.

ABR, kudos on the post expressing your suspicions of me and justifying it, said post was so perfectly on point that a tunnel was the only possible reaction for a town you. I don't know if you would have been able to maintain a tunnel on me conincingly enough that I wouldn't have figured it out eventually, but it was a very very good post.

I'm also a little sad that my experiment in playing completely differently won't come to fruition.

FA: I never watched the movie, I was planning on rewatching the series with Drixx and slotting the movie in appropriately, but we never got around to it before the game ended. I googled her claimed character enough to see who she was, but the fact that her flavor didn't include any sort of poison stuff wasn't sufficient for me to go after her because I assume scum have GOOD fake claims...that is, ones that work with any sort of mechanical things. Just assumed there was something in the details of the movie that made it make sense, and moved onto defending my actual town reads.

@vifam: what part of my play made you want to make fun of me, besides the whole kraska thing, which was wholly based off the fact that the logic people were using to suspect her was fundamentally wrong and without that and/or flavor knowledge I didn't possess, there was no actual reason there suspect her slot (in the pages I bothered reading at least ^^)?

Mmmm she didn't claim 2 characters? She claimed a role, and then claimed a character. If there was a second character claim she made besides whoever the girl was I looked up (as in, one she EXPLICITLY made), then sure it makes sense thet town should have caught that. BUT if the issue was that pgo with that kill flavor didn't make sense for her claimed character flavor, then no, town not catching that isn't unreasonable.

@Rachmarie: you played with me in Gistou. I'm ALWAYS supremely confident in my ability to evade lynches. Totally NAI for me, and not even indicative of my role..

No FA. You REALLY can't expect town to assume your flavor story has additional details about who performed kills beyond the actual flavor assigned to the kills. That's something which needs to be explicitly stated by you in the details about the game, not just that there are kill flavors, but that your flavor stories are meaningful.

I'm not saying it's on you, other than insofar as if you EXPECTED town to read into your flavor stories for mechanical hints, that is, that the game was balanced with that expectation, town should have been aware that they needed to pay attention to that. Since town WASN'T aware of that, any accusation that town was dumb for missing it is unfounded.

That's it. You know me FA. If I legitimately missed something I should have caught I would admit to it, and I would be the first to do so. I blame myself for basically every game my faction loses. I'm not trying to weasel out of responsibility or something, there was just no reason for town to look at your story as something to check to confirm kraskas flavor claim. HAD there been, I'd be beating myself up for missing it (probably, I was pretty lazy this game)...but since there wasn't, I don't even feel the tiniest bit of responsibility.

Pedit: yeah that's purely meta unique to you FA. The only mechanical part flavor usually plays in a game with kill flavors is the part where you say x was killed by y method.

That's why I didn't even try. Somewhere earlier I said I basically started reading from.the top of whatever page we were on when I found time for the game, and followed along until I got busy with something else. The only exception was when I asked someone a question, I'd iso myself and them together to see if they had ever answered me.

@NC: I think the tail end of the maker wagon (like myself at least) was just working to get town together and prevent any personal disagreements about non game related stuff from blowing up the game any further than it already was...for the town slots of course. *shrug* the argument Nacho made about how at this stage if the game we just needed wagons and flips to simplify the game was quite apt.
Also, something interesting: other than MoZ and TAM (both if which were very heavily pushed by BOTH scum teams), every major wagon was on scum.

So that's a thing.
