last time i saw someone claim a PR, they were making it up. Actually scratch that-EVERY TIME i see someone claim a PR, it is BS. PRs are for scumchat imo. On the forums they are simply an excuse not to contribute.

I'm not gonna quote it as i think it has something to do with the game and may affect me if I do, but what does everyone think of Thyroid's RenFair thing. I mean, if thats a RL thing, thing whatever, but it just seems weird, and what with this being a designer game, I'm curious what other people think.

I can easily forsee a role along the lines of 'persuade every member of the town to say a certain word/quote a certain message, and you win'. The equivalent of a neutral role i guess.

I think jediknight's post explains Nocmen's role - at the very least, it's probably the one he designed. I can't imagine two players both designing roles with meeps. Although, as he said, it does not clear Nocmen, as it is possible it has been altered. It does prove he has a PR though.

Which makes me think. Someone else must know thyroid's role - presumably someone designed it. If that person knows what it does, they shouldn't claim it - but they should at least tell us whether it will help the town or not.

This is a good point. However, MoS did take roles from replacements as well ( I submit 1 or 2) and was not even in the game(was on replacement list). So the designer may not even be in the game....

I would like to clarify that I told no one that their role was rejected or accepted into the final setup.

I did, however, make many suggestions on improving roles, depending on what was submitted. Whether or not I made a suggestion does not indicate whether or not the role was used. I merely made suggestions, it was up to the player to decide on the final version of their role. Any changes made since then were for balancing purposes. No role was flat out rejected, except for "You have a kill that can be used at any time to kill JDodge". I didn't accept that one. =P

I should note here that i did not submit the choice suggested above by MoS. And frankly, i think my comment stands, although i understand for game purposes, that there is a POSSIBILITY that the role i submitted is present in the game.
