One of {west, fire, ari} is most likely purple and from elbirn we know there's 2 purple players so purple is presumably the remaining scum. Since west already flipped blue there's a fair chance he's not purple now. Therefore if fire flips purple we lynch him. If blue we lynch aristo.

I don't dislike the logic. But I am blue town. Thus I will, in this case, assume I am not painted, that scum thought a West reflip was still likely, and painted him.

But I know this only works from my point of view, so I get it.

Here's where I'm at.
I am blue. If I flip anything else it is because I have been painted. Then we know town can be painted.

If West flips blue, then either I have been painted Red or Fire painted blue.

If West flips anything but red, we have a formerly painted scum lynch.

Of the options, I am obviously going to VOTE: West
However I realize I am the likelier lynch.

You forget Elbirn said there are 2 purple players and 9 blue. So either scum have painted themselves blue (or already been blue) and then painted town purple, or they've painted themselves purple.

We don't know whether scum can paint town or not this is a chance to find out.

Everyone's flips are either Really Red or Really Blue. Like, all colour is transformed boldly into that colour.

Yet RC's picture was difinitively Purple.

He flipped blue on death, as was his alignment, yet his pic was purple.
So I think he had been painted aat some point, confirming that town can be painted.

But if the purple doesn't fade, that would mean 3 nights of colouring. 2 current purples and a dead purple would account for one a night.
Throw in a godfather and a single scum being painted and it makes all the colour results reasonable while keeping a proper TvS ratio.

I'm really just theorizing, but it seems to make sense to me.

But to answer your question, now that we've moved outside the Mechanics-That-Zito-Has-No-Influence-On Phase, I am now attempting to form opinions on people. I keep seeing hiplop's name tossed around so I'm starting there to see what the fuss is about. I did my due diligence reading here so now it's question time.

In the interests of transparency, since I totally get that my lack of contribution to date makes me basically unreadable - Enough people have said his name (and we have an actual vote now) that I'm anticipating a wagon of some sort to form, especially given the malaise that we seem to be experiencing atm. So my iso dive and subsequent questions are gonna serve 2 purposes, one to get a solid read on an apparently controversial slot and two to evaluate how others are approaching said slot.

FWIW I have a few of townreads based on how mechanics have played out and how some players are attempting to solve the game but I'm not sure how valuable it is to share those rn.

I honestly really liked some of the mechanics, and I think the role interactions were cool!
As much as I complained about the flip phase taking away discussion, I think it is something that would be cool to have implemented in other setups.
